the best album by a phenomenal musician, outstanding is also the performance by joe lynn turner, much better than jeff scott soto or goran edman. I remain convinced that this wonderful soloist has a significant limitation in feeling despite having monstrous technique. As for comments on other musicians, blackmore is the progenitor of the neoclassical genre, hammet is a good virtuoso, jimy hendrix was purely instinct and zero musical knowledge, steve vai is genius, and eddie van halen does not fall into this category being the greatest musician of all time. All the others, starting from richard benson and up, do not deserve even a mention in this Olympus of the six strings.
