But a comment on my 4? Just to know what you think of my objections...

Terrible review, from my point of view. Superficial and mainly aimed at highlighting the greatness of Wells (undeniable), but analysis and commentary on a film are another thing. Nothing personal. Aloha

"Citizen Kane" is rightly considered "the greatest film of all time": underline that. I absolutely disagree with this statement, but the fact is that many, among critics and industry professionals, do not see it that way. A masterpiece, undoubtedly, but the greatest film of all time...well, that’s YOUR statement, don’t generalize. In fact, I believe that the greatest film of all time does not exist; it cannot exist.

"he ferried cinema into its primordial form...": it's a contradiction; either he ferries it somewhere or he returns it to its primordial form. Wells's cinema "primordial"? I respect every opinion, but from my point of view, there is very little of the "primordial" (understood as the cinema of origins, because primordial means this) in Wells. A revolutionary rarely takes us back to the primordial state.

"Let's clarify a concept right away: Orson Welles was the greatest of all. More than Chaplin..."; wait.

@ mp: mmm, I instead found something disturbing, a friend of mine from Marghera sent it to me and says it's homemade... but no inner devastation, I think due to my lack of feral dimension, indeed. I long for the state of Norrenity, a friend of mine told me that once he was so Norren that he managed to see a fjord in flames rising from his toilet. And he was sitting on it.

Seven...don't think badly, I absolutely didn't mean that you copied! I included the link to that review because I think it's the best review ever written on the genre...that's all ;)
And, while I'm at it, I want to tell you that your review didn't hurt me, and the fact that I was ironic in my previous post is only because I find this musical genre ironic...not your review. De gustibus...nothing personal! Peace and love

...how I wish I could have a feral dimension too and be distinctly inclined to the extreme but at the same time reasoned, filled with inner devastation, disturbing and above all norse as hell.

I agree with what the person above me wrote... it's true that it's light-years away from the quality of the first two albums, true that some tracks are boring and a bit predictable... but really, if all the average-quality pop albums sounded like this, wow! I actually believe it's still a well-played and well-produced album, made with care and precision. The content is what it is, but I wouldn't spit on it...
