"Well done, Gabri: great job! It has been exactly a month... So, what do I remember about Lugano (in no particular order): the grand final evening with luganega and barbera (...and limoncello, ...and grappa), humax and I, involuntary chicken-pulp dissectors :-/, the cotton mill in the belly button of G, my diplomatic mediations with the waiter Ivan (by the way: did he ever show up in chat?), the sweetness of Vani who is just as she is in chat, Frantz’s imposing stride that made me stumble on flip-flops ten meters behind to catch up with the others :D, Roky, the licorice devourer, the charm of Antimo and Mr. Orange. But do you know what the nicest thing is? That now, when I read something written by those who were present at the de-meeting or communicate with them in chat, I can imagine what voice, accent, or tone they would use to say what I’m reading. From Antimo's Campanian accent to easycure's Tuscan one, from Gabri's precise tones to the soft ones of zzzzzzzzzzz... In any case, I really had a great time and some people turned out to be a delightful surprise!" MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....MMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMM...I withhold my greetings until official apologies.

I listened to the CD in the car, driving around Europe this summer. Not bad as a soundtrack, especially from six in the evening onwards.

For G__à: the nerdy guy (Erlend) has curated an edition of the DJ Kicks series that seems to be quite interesting. (I believe that's the remix album you're referring to)

I believe the debate is interesting, but in some respects a bit self-serving, especially in trying to compare Ferretti and Battiato.
Koopa, although not entirely, I can understand your certain "boredom" when listening to Ferretti, perhaps due to a need for something more vibrant, but I don't think it’s fair to criticize the "sectoral" choice of writing engaged and difficult-to-understand lyrics. I suppose you know that each of us has our own interests and passions, and I don't think it will surprise you to know that there are people (myself included) whose interests align with those expressed by Ferretti in his lyrics, kindly allowing me to hear about, for example, Occitania or other historical matters (and not only, to be clear, I appreciate the more "emotive" parts as well). Perhaps it’s not for everyone, but maybe for those who can grasp its essence, it is sublime poetry. And I'm also talking about the "mood" in which it is expressed, that heaviness and seriousness that (rightly) doesn’t appeal to you. So allow me to defend it fiercely, given that I find it very alluring and that I still "feel the need" to listen to them, often and willingly.

Why do I give 5 first and then 4? Why? Why do I make mistakes? Why am I human? Why? Me of all people! Damn it!
