Oops... I reposted updating! But yes, and it’s nice this way too. After all, it was inevitable, with the growth of the site, the increase in users, that everything would become de-personalized. Things that happen. However, I really want to see you again, to see you all again... I've only seen Mala; I call her when I’m in Rome... and Antimo, last year, when I was in Salerno and we went to Pompeii together. Apart from MAtte-Mr. Orange, of course. He now lives in the room next to mine! We'll meet again in person as well, I'm sure...

Spirit. I believe it’s a matter of spirit. And attitude. As you’ve surely noticed, DJ, this review was written (I wrote it) in 2003, which is a whole 5 years ago (holy crap! I’ll add…). Ask yourself what De-Baser was like back then, what the spirit of that time was, and you will find many answers that explain why this (and other) reviews exist. You mention Mr-Iko, but if only you knew… it makes me laugh to think about it. Far from me the nostalgia for the old days; everything passes, everything changes. You say: “But all these duplicates detract from the quality/order/usefulness of the site.” Quality, order, usefulness. All things that had nothing to do with De-Baser in 2003. And I liked it that way (in fact, I now visit De-Baser once every 3 months and I don’t write anymore). Then you add: “In my opinion, one gets lost in the chaos.” And that was precisely the beauty of it—losing oneself in the chaos, wading through the turmoil of others' emotions, using music as a means of self-discovery rather than as an object to be known. That said, I can only express my small bitterness at seeing how the new De-B now judges that whole bunch of reviews—of which this is a part—as redundant, useless, and self-indulgent. It’s a bit like an old man being told to throw away his old records to make space for new stuff. Because they create disorder, because they don’t fit, because now we have the CD of the same album… Forgive me for the somewhat strong image, but the concept is there. With this, DJ, I don’t want to reopen a debate that, among other things, I found very entertaining back then for the tones it was fought with... just letting you know what the spirit and attitude was of those who, at the time and perhaps even today, come to De-B not to exchange information, but to play with emotions. After all, there were just a handful of us, and we all knew each other. Bye. Sol.

@rikardo: furthermore, as I mentioned earlier, be careful when searching the internet. There is a lot of information out there, and not all of it is true. You need to read between the lines of certain discussions, sifting the truth from the fluff... I repeat: certainly, there are global interests that unite various powerful individuals who are interconnected, but that's normal. It’s clear that history needs to be read more deeply than what our school textbooks did... but be careful: lacking a critical judgment when diving into certain discussions is the most serious risk one can take. As someone said just above me, there are many powers at play, not just that of banking lobbies. And falling into the trap of those who artfully spin certain narratives to turn you against the opposing faction is a constant risk. Those who say, "watch out for the Church and the power of its hierarchy," are right. It's not science fiction that claims many of the rumors about the Illuminati and the like come from those very circles. It’s a battle among demons; don’t get crushed in the middle of it. Stay sharp and don’t always take the bait. It's good to seek information and not settle for what you read in the (garbage) newspaper, but always keep your ears wide open, because those who want to trick you are always around the corner. Do you think it’s hard to bypass people who don’t believe in "official" information by spinning another narrative, in the form of "underground information" (if I may say), that caters more to your needs but is crafted to trick you again?

@rikardo: already the tones of your polemic are becoming more subdued, and I respond to you with more taste. I’m not playing favorites; I make no distinction between right and left in Italy. You, on the other hand, argue that it is in the PD where the most dangerous wasps are nestled. We can discuss this. The fact remains that there are a whole series of other elements (external to the issue of the Great Conspiracy of the Illuminati) that affect the daily lives of us Italians. These elements are Justice, Work, the Mafia (understood as a system of power). Allow me to say that in these terms a new Berlusconi government would be disastrous for our country, perhaps even more so than having Draghi among the ranks of the PD. If we analyze the historical repercussions of certain events, we see how those you described are often "long-wave"; while today’s Italy needs to look at the present, in order not to collapse. It is today that we gamble the civil survival of this country, which may be governed by the enlightened, but it is made up of ordinary people. Frankly, we are in a situation that does not allow us to look beyond tomorrow, and in this respect, I fear the new P2 (or its offspring) more than discussions of a global nature, to which, rest assured, we cannot find a remedy today.

@M.Poletti: I'm referring to your statement: "In the next elections, at least 70% of Italians will go to vote, choosing politics again, while all of you, the indifferent ones who never have the courage to take a stand." In the next elections, 70% of Italians will choose politics again, I know. In fact, I live in a country that deserves what it has. Are you happy with our politics? Will you choose it again? Go on, M.Poletti, go...
