I love the music that stays quiet behind the Italian musical facade, but still manages to talk about itself; that's why I love Italian hip-hop, and that's also why I love these loudmouths who compete to see who can be the most outrageous (which has nothing to do with hip-hop).

To create absurdity, even vulgar and anonymous like them, you need a certain level of intelligence... it sounds like a contradiction, but that's how it is...

Do you think Fantozzi and the old Monnezza were just stupid Trash? Fantozzi makes me laugh, moves me, and makes me reflect, and the early films of Tomas Milian are gems of Italian cinema.

thank you, although I think I need to explain why this mix:
once I was like Capa, convinced that through a freakish research I would win over my interlocutors...
I loved the 99, the Banda Bassotti, and the extraparliamentary left, and every bullshit they did was pure gold for me.
if I think about it now, I hate myself.
and CapaRezza is part of that period...

Thanks for the feedback on the review of "Kosmo," but I don't like it, and I'm not too fond of the others either (except for the one about "Uomini di Mare," which I had in my soul). Anyway, Capa gives the impression of a fake freak hustler, all character, who discovered the secret to success thanks to a bit more hair and a cartoonish voice... It’s entertaining and appealing precisely because of these qualities, and that’s why it’s so polarizing in the Italian-anonymous hh scene.

too bad you can’t find THEM on MTV. The most listened to radio stations don’t play them, unlike the "real" alternatives like Art31, Caparezza, Simone Cristicchi, the Velvet, and the whole parade of Italian alternative rockers who sell thousands of records thanks to radio, Sanremo, Festival Bar, Live8, MTV, etc... while clearly the prophilax are "fake" since you really can’t find them in all of this...

I wrote it on the spur of the moment without first consulting the critical and stern superego... and now that I read it again, Giubbo, you’re absolutely right, especially the part about nihilism, it’s too forced and inflated. Good thing I was supposed to be a "minimalist"; it sounds more like the rhetoric of a Soviet-Fascist regime than a review of a CD that isn’t even that great.
