Yes, I agree that it's not pure electronics. However, the electronics present is almost always rough, never refined, and therefore worth even less. Moreover, almost all the songs are boring. Playing the guitar roughly is possible. Punk?

Dear iusedme, I wrote that it’s a record of approximate electronics. But if it had been played with the guitar, just as approximately, it would have been more pleasant. And then it’s not entirely true what you say; Shadows Collide is a record (rightly) with more aspirations, a desire to amaze, to say something new. To Record Only Water is the same. This is just electronic masturbation. I’m the first to say that Frusciante is a creative, read my other reviews (and maybe comment on them) about him here on Deb. ;D
