Nicolas Winding Refn The Neon Demon
Voto:
Seen. Well, some excellent sequences, really tough ending, but at the writing level, it didn’t seem particularly strong to me. A 3.5 overall.
Shane Black The nice guys

I am stricter than you in this case. Lots of laughs, often crude, but a really confusing and fragile structure. For example, it's too easy to make Gosling look like an idiot just to get one more laugh; but a detective that dim-witted is not realistic. I found it very, too clever as a film. Anyway, it's funny, that's for sure. 5.5/10

Saw it yesterday, beautiful! My review here: The Cinema Show: 138. La pazza gioia
Matteo Garrone Il racconto dei racconti - Tale of Tales
Voto:
Beautiful in terms of style, special effects, and so on. But narratively, it disappointed me quite a bit. Nevertheless, it fits well into this phase of Italian cinema where there is a greater openness to genres.
Pete Docter Inside Out

Absolutely agree! There's a big targeting issue: an important theme for adults is tackled in a childish way to please children. Brilliant idea, indeed. 3.5/5
