Death Human 20th Anniversary Edition
Voto:
For me too, as a sound, it's the best of Death. Stunning.

I'm quite annoyed by the superficiality of the comments on this song. You have to see it in perspective: it’s obvious that Mastodon haven’t turned to pop rock; like "The Motherload" and "Curl of the Burl" on previous albums, this is the easy track on the album. And as thin as it might seem upon first listens, it has its own solidity. In fact, you have to appreciate the ability—which is anything but common—to blend easy melodies with gritty, robust guitar sounds as always. Because in reality, it brings a technical and qualitative improvement in rock music that is appealing to everyone. Then the album will have space for heavier stuff, for psychedelic things, etc., in my opinion, just like it did in "Once More." It’ll be a more concise and "tightened" version of the 2014 album. But those who saw a return to "Crack the Skye" or "Bloom Mountain" with "Sultan's Curse" really missed the mark.

A new track has been released, the second song of the album. In line with the pop metal of Curl of the Burl and Motherload. For me, it's very fresh and enjoyable. Of course, it impresses with the simplicity of its structure.

I’ve seen it too. Beautiful; it seems like something is missing, but in reality nothing is missing. I’ll link my review to avoid unnecessary duplication: The Cinema Show: 177. Arrival
Gareth Edwards Rogue One

I have some reservations about the fact that the rebellion isn't suicidal: they go in ten against the Empire, and indeed they end up dying like flies. That rhetoric of going for it even when it seems impossible and then actually succeeding is one of the many things I detested about the film. As for independence, I just can't see where you find it; it's all fan service with a thousand (sterile) callbacks to the other episodes. Anyway, the review isn't badly written ;)

It seems inferior to Pale Communion, which I didn't mind. A decent work but also very formulaic.

I saw them on the 5th in Milan. Crazy concert.

You have to listen to it without hoping to finish it... it's too massive, I've only finished it a couple of times. But it's beautiful!

Pleasant, but with a rather pompous ending that spoils the carefree atmosphere. Barely sufficient.

I am stricter, for me the attempt to change has failed and the result is a rather boring album. Better I'm with you, as contrived and opportunistic as it was, at least it had its liveliness.
