Half-Life is from '97, the game of the year editions are packages that also include the various expansions (Opposing Force/Blue Shift, etc.). I believe this lasted less than 20 minutes on my hard disk; it already felt stale after 2 minutes, and in 2007 there were FPS games of a whole different level (Bioshock, Crysis).
