I watched the movie, not bad.

A film that won't brighten your evening. Still very worthwhile, the review is excellent.

seen a few years ago at the cinema... a less inspired Allen compared to Match Point, even though this is a comedy, it’s still worth watching.

Double Helix is, as far as I remember, a remnant of Shiny... strange that the Japanese handed them a brand like this, it seems the turn of the fourth one didn’t sit well with the higher-ups... I didn’t dislike it anyway, after 3 identical titles a change was needed. Never tried it, and news of console porting, crashes, and lack of AA filters were enough for me to skip it in favor of RE5, an excellent PC port of a less than decent title... one of the genres that has been riding high since the 32-bit days seems to be already sunset. The review feels a bit too much like a magazine piece and not very personal, but still good.

I instead preferred Costner's Wyatt Earp, which is over 3 hours long, providing a more comprehensive (and heavier) perspective on the character. I can't see Val Kilmer acting; the best Doc is definitely Kirk Douglas in Gunfight at the OK Corral from the '50s.

great film, like its respective sequel, certainly not a movie about poker obviously

Terran ftw. I believe that historically there are few titles like this, capable of defining a genre and representing it for over a decade (an eternity in a world where it only takes a couple of years to show signs of aging). I had thought about doing this some time ago, after all it's the national sport in South Korea, where Brood War matches air on TV just like soccer matches do here. Then, well, for me, RTS games have always been and will always be Blizzard, there's no competition. I would have also said a few words about the beautiful music and the intricate sci-fi plot (of cinematic quality).
