Quentin Tarantino The Hateful Eight

Great review, I agree with the comparison to Le Iene... I liked it a lot, I don't know if it's better than Bastardi (which has a better pace), but it's definitely much better than Django. I also agree that there's nothing new here, not even a hint, but everything is done so well that after the first painfully slow hour, the next two flow smoothly and enjoyably like his best films.

I agree, 12-year-olds out... the game has aged pretty poorly.

Great, not to mention, but decent, yes. And when we talk about Star Wars, decent means more than good, especially after the 3 horrible prequels.

Heavy atmosphere, a ridiculous story, and a crazy ending if I remember correctly (I can still hear the curses about the final boss)... not my favorite, actually, maybe I appreciated the controversial fourth one more, but this one had an atmosphere that outshone them all.

If you overlook the recycling of ideas (Death Star, shield, etc.) already seen in the original chapters, and the fact that Rey, knowing nothing about the Force and lightsabers, almost kills a Sith apprentice in their first confrontation, you find a film that isn’t that bad. At the very least, it’s much better than the horrendous prequels from the 2000s, which were embarrassing to say the least. In fact, I’d say this one ranks just behind Episodes 5 and 6.
Steven Spielberg Il ponte delle spie

Saw a couple of weeks ago, not bad, Steven occasionally throws out low-key films like this... high-level script and cast keep a movie afloat that at first glance seems like it’s been seen 300 times, yet it turns out to be more than watchable.

Horrendous film, nailed down by the PG-13 rating, a bunch of idiots who need to kill each other but with no chance to show violent scenes. The director has the brilliant idea of using shaky camera during the action scenes to "compensate," making the viewing experience annoyingly inhuman. A Battle Royale for kids, glossy and nauseating.

In my opinion, it’s a bit boring; if it weren't for the Coen brothers, it would have gone completely unnoticed and the comments here would have been anything but positive.

I was actually planning to write this review myself... Well done, great bio-pic, Ronny manages to keep the pace up for 2 straight hours and bounces back after a few mediocre films, a solid cast (except for Olivia Wilde, hot but completely zero as an actress here), a surprising Hemsworth (who I didn’t expect much from) and a stellar Brulh. A simple film but it does everything perfectly.

Explain to me how you can watch a sci-fi movie starring Matt Damon in an exoskeleton and have all these issues about... I mean, seriously, are you someone who is surprised that explosions in space here make noise? Are you so naive to expect realism in a movie like this? What do you know about how rocket launchers work in the future? Besides, from what you write, you haven't even understood the movie "because the removal of data from a person's brain does not cause death in the first case (the guy dies because he was shot) in the first case, while in the second, the removal of the exact same data does." <- there's a very specific reason for that, it's strange that someone as attentive as you missed this portion of the film. That said, the movie has some issues, but the funny part is that you didn't mention a single one in this review. Incredible. It's hilarious how people think that one movie can ruin another that has nothing to do with it.
