I agree with molten, be careful with unfortunate comparisons, these don't even belong to the same genre. Also, watch out for too many propositions (which are repetitive by the way) in the conclusion... other than that, the level is good.

To me, an unknown self, the de-disc in question might interest me after all... good mention, nice reception without serious issues.

Here it is a bit subjective, in the sense that the criticism has inserted it without too much fuss into the Daft Punkian French touch genre, highlighting affiliations with The Hacker and Miss Kittin (thus electroclash) and giving less weight to the purely techno side, where, as you say, German influences abound. Fortune had it that the singles are products of contamination (some more than others), but even (the cryogenically preserved) La Rock 01, released under a German label, has that unmistakable French touch... the difficult judgment is left to posterity...
