in the days of yore, I found it damn rough, half an album almost unlistenable... barely decent, as you said... I give the album 2 and a half.

I agree with molten, be careful with unfortunate comparisons, these don't even belong to the same genre. Also, watch out for too many propositions (which are repetitive by the way) in the conclusion... other than that, the level is good.

To me, an unknown self, the de-disc in question might interest me after all... good mention, nice reception without serious issues.

I had said that the Grass was for rakes? :D
Come on, we’re just joking. Seriously, I find it hard to keep up (more than anything, to share) a good part of the Voltairean pamphlet, however, the review is accurate and passionate... maybe a bit biased, huh :)

I will be contrarian, but for me they are monstrously overrated. In Italy, there's a tendency to divide everything into two categories: shit and pure gold. And this album doesn’t seem to be either.

always hated because of the terribly dirty sound of a multitude of genres, chaotic and with no logical thread... but the reviews are great

Damn, but this is also copied word for word.... shame!

Here it is a bit subjective, in the sense that the criticism has inserted it without too much fuss into the Daft Punkian French touch genre, highlighting affiliations with The Hacker and Miss Kittin (thus electroclash) and giving less weight to the purely techno side, where, as you say, German influences abound. Fortune had it that the singles are products of contamination (some more than others), but even (the cryogenically preserved) La Rock 01, released under a German label, has that unmistakable French touch... the difficult judgment is left to posterity...
p.s. heartfelt thanks to Qzerty and dafunk for the compliments, it might be true that I was a bit brief, but I hate to ramble on too much. Kind thanks to the esteemed odradek, whose reviewed productions make half of the attendees envious, and to the splendid guru, whose mere commentary presence honors me every time.
