Actually, one at Sundance, the other was a nomination.

I liked the film, but if I remember correctly, the 'intelligent' critics didn't tear it apart at all (it won 16 awards and 5 nominations including 2 at Sundance FF!)... of course, if you watch Marzullo and his bunch of old fools... the reception is so-so, just enough for a comeback.

azz killgod, I'm sorry that your lobotomy had such an outcome, but some bullshit you could have spared yourself... getting back to serious/concrete matters, I've only been getting into this lately (starting from Vitalic-->The Hacker-->Miss Kittin) and I don't dislike this CD at all... while waiting to further expand my knowledge in this regard, a late greeting of 2 years and congratulations on the review.

Let's not kid ourselves, 4 stars for this thing... ugly, boring, lacking inspiration. The only redeeming part is 'Be Yourself', which is a kickass single.

I was a fan of the old guard (up until Nimrod, to be clear) and I remember this album as a solid block of songs that are more or less all the same... probably their most 'punk' album and least easy listening, despite a couple of chartable tracks. Good review.

I heard it about ten years later, something like 10 years ago because a friend of mine from middle school (!) had it... I vaguely remember it as something magnificent and this review is a perfect frame.
