Ah, it's a matroska (.mkv) so it contains multiple high-quality video and audio streams and is not playable on home theater players (unfortunately)... anyway, here’s the link for the filters and players (Media Player Classic recommended) Downloads for Windows | Matroska

link rotto here’s the link to the tracker (all legal stuff, don’t worry editors) if you look closely at the bottom there’s also the DVD version 16:9 audio 5.1 Italian subs of Elfen Lied, of course highly recommended (I admit that the English subs are on another level though)

Well, when it comes to feature films, it's true that in recent years (Miyazaki aside, Ghibli also produces something excellent even when they don't hit the mark) the technical level has risen while the screenplays have declined... the trend seems to be the same old philosophical clichés with a bit of action. However, when it comes to series and miniseries, the tendency seems to be the opposite. From the masterpiece Elfen Lied to the excellent Hellsing, Witch Hunter Robin, Gunslinger Girl, and GunGrave, the quality has certainly not decreased, quite the contrary... As for Akira, maybe rent the DVD because it’s worth a watch; I don’t mind it, even though I suspect it suffers a bit from the cult status that surrounds classics of its kind… @third: the Berserk anime is awful, come on… it's true that no anime ever comes close to the level of the manga, but here we are at a ridiculous level. Miura himself said the anime was crap :D

Yes, indeed, it should strictly be watched in Japanese with subtitles downloaded from the internet... and screw the obscene localization... anyway, it's certainly not a must-see.

mediocre film, technically stunning but dramatically inconsistent... besides, the title is Innocence (for the whole world), but we Italians have some unfortunate translators who always have to mangle movie titles >_<

I completely disagree with the judgment on Square Dance and Business, which are among the best tracks in the lot... the first half of the CD is of excellent quality (with White America and Soldier standing out), then it all starts to drag with samples and choruses, only to recover at the end with My Dad's Gone Crazy... it remains a good album.

Together with the cookies, the most hated nu-metal/crossover group on the face of the earth... it's strange, isn't it? Because in the early 2000s, when there was no trace of this album, the eager import party kids described them as a breath of fresh air... A year and a half later, they arrive on the old continent, and thanks to unparalleled media support, everyone finds a new enemy (even those who don't listen to metal)... Yet alongside the chart-topping singles, indeed laxatives after a second (especially In The End, which is pretty much pop with guitars), there are badass productions like By Myself, Crawling, With You, Pushing Me Away... The media backlash that followed didn’t help, with 200 horrendous remixes, thousands of TV appearances, and tasteless sponsorships... However, on an album level and without prejudice, this CD isn’t as terrible as they say (much more, some will argue). I think it deserves a 2.5. And the review (you obviously knew they would stone you on the spot) isn't even that obscene.
