Rob Zombie La Casa Del Diavolo

I must preface this by saying I haven't seen it... the prequel, "La casa dei 1000 corpi," is one of the worst films I've ever seen... now, I don't have anything against old Rob, but let's just say that after that immense piece of garbage I had to endure, I find it incredibly hard to even believe that this is watchable.

There's nothing scary, but if you tell me there's nothing disgusting, then there are two possibilities: either you haven't seen the movie and you're messing with me, or you're seriously impaired and represent the kind of person who shouldn't watch this film. There's no way someone can watch it with absolute nonchalance: if they do, they're either an idiot or seriously disturbed.

you see hardrock, the fact is that this film is anything but a conventional horror. Here, it ups the ante in the splatter genre, betting on the ability to make the viewer look away by presenting a macabre show like few have seen in years. For many, but absolutely not for everyone.

I don't know who wrote "a total flop," but they wrote a load of nonsense... in reality, it was a success and validated a new approach to distribution with over 350k copies sold... the film itself isn't anything special, though... 2 and a half.

but imagine, there's more violence and horror in an episode of Porta a Porta...

Anyway, a sequel is coming and a new controversy about violence against women. Hooray.

A few months earlier, I had watched Alta Tensione by Aja (a film that literally pisses in the face of this in terms of violence), so I don't know, is it me or is there practically no violence here? The bathroom scene at the end is the only good idea in the film, which maybe gets a bit of a running start with the abundance of nudity in the early stages but finds itself out of breath by the end of the first half. Disappointment, never trust the hype.

"The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" wasn't that obscene, you know... just like "Hollywood Ending," it easily finds a passing grade on IMDb.

"saw is already outdated now.." okay, which other graceful slasher-splatter?
