I spent the last 2 days there, the first day Vasco was there and I couldn’t care less... yes, it was relatively dreadful, but over the years, Heineken has been getting worse and worse. I barely remember the smug faces of Velvet Revolver and how sexy the singer from Garbage was... and maybe the stage presence of Green Day, always the same after 20 years despite their renewed commercial success (whatever anyone says). R.E.M. aren’t my cup of tea, but since I always have tickets or a free pass, I know Imola like the back of my hand... last year they tried to move it and unleashed the fury of the elements :D p.s. It was enough to get a response on the other review.

I've seen them, much to my chagrin, twice live... the first time was their concert, with only their fans, people who pay for their expensive lifestyle... everything perfect. The second time was at some Heineken Jammin festival (one of the most horrendous anyway)... a scandalous behavior, barely 50 minutes of torn performance (when no headliner band at Heineken dares to perform less than 2 and a half hours), everything pitiful, lacking enthusiasm and with an arrogance never seen before... a total slap in the face for tens of thousands of fans who had traveled half of Italy to see them (I fortunately wasn't among them, I wasn't there for them, they were "collateral"). I remember an unprecedented throwing of food and drinks on stage.

On a technical level, they know what they're doing; it's a group that might almost go unnoticed when heard on the radio, but they definitely leave a mark in live performances.

The first album by Muse (Showbiz) has some points in common with the very early Radiohead of 15 years ago (the ones from Pablo Honey and The Bends). Point. For more than a decade now, the two bands have absolutely nothing in common except for the fact that they are both British.

"Japanese pop has its reasons" uxo, I like you, but this is terrible :D a country that churns out pop idols every two weeks (the latest ones have an average lifespan of 3 to 12 months, then 99% of them disappear or make a comeback in red-light districts) and that makes the US music industry look like an art paradise, the reasons it finds are solely and exclusively in sales. And there’s no denying it, there’s nothing more commercial than sugary j-pop on the face of the Earth. Also, I haven't listened to this album and I won't be, maybe it overflows with creativity, but if that were the case it would be one in a million.

if a newly released CD cost 10 euros, my collection would be twice as big...
