But why do you always have it in for Tony Scott :D I mean, at least he found some new valid solutions, and speaking of quality, stuff like Domino is pathetic, but things like Man on Fire definitely earn him some points...

It's beautiful; when I finished watching it for the first time over 10 years ago, I felt almost sick...

But chick flicks should be watched in the cinema; after all, you won't really be watching the movie if you're with a woman... watching it at home like an old couple exposes you much more to the danger of actually having to sit through the film :D

House is a type of techno; I couldn't care less if Americans prefer slower stuff like house, it's just that they don't have the underground culture we have here. They have a different one, period. And the stuff we hear here, if you like digging into the past, has German origins; Black people and hip hop have nothing to do with it.

"Then there are all the subgenres... house, techno, etc..." oh sure... ALL this stuff is a subgenre of Techno, period. And if there are different names it’s because different names are needed, because the tempos are different, because the structure is different, the instruments are different, and coincidentally, the sound is different. Just like in fucking metal, the difference between ambient and goa is the same as that between power and black. Why do you think there are 5 types of trance? Because they’re all the same? And I'm not talking about the crap that journalists write who don’t know shit or understand anything; definitions like 'Intelligent Dance Music' can only be written by a complete idiot. Aphex is a madman, but his music, all his fucking production under 50 different names is still categorizable into various genres. Just because you’re a generic thinker who calls everything "dance" doesn’t mean things are that way; Larrok’s discourse applies perfectly to electronic music as well.

Cute, but for me "Shy" delivered the best cartridges in the first 2 films... this works and is better than the mediocre Signs and the questionable Lady in the Water, but for me it's 10 feet below The Sixth Sense or Unbreakable.
