Alex Proyas Il Corvo
Voto:
Proyas' masterpiece, which despite some worthy works (Dark City above all) has not managed to repeat itself... the film carries with it a decaying, gothic, cursed aura like few others, and as an adaptation from the comic it would probably deserve a 5. As a standalone film, a 4 is more than justified; how much it pleases/has pleased teenagers matters little to me, it’s a watchable film and will definitely appeal to those who read the comic years ago.

The term "bullet time" was coined by Remedy in 2001, the year Max Payne was released (of which a controversial film adaptation has also come out, soon to be discussed here)... for the uninitiated, it refers to the slo-mo à la Matrix.

"They were anyway a study group, they were actually pretty fake strong." You're feeling unwell and you've never seen them live.

"Many know this group mainly for the singles from their third album 'Beautifulgarbage.' Wow, you're really missing out then... in fact, the first and second albums are small gems, classy mainstream... seeing them live makes you fall in love with Shirley."

The book wasn't bad, even though I admit I read it after watching the movie... RIP

Ah, punk rock yes, but punk-pop, whatever that means, I would say absolutely not considering the subjects, they didn't even have the shadow of pop.

meteors, but I would be a hypocrite to say that more than 10 years ago I didn't like them... in fact, now I'm going to re-sign up for pills and grass.

I’m not saying it has to be liked; I’m saying that you can’t define Nemo and Monster Inc as adult films when they are, in every way, films for kids, and then define films like Ratatouille or The Incredibles as not very adult when they actually appeal to a more mature audience.
