I find it striking that when discussing a director and referring to their filmography, it’s unthinkable to omit the only film made previously, unless there’s an intentional effort to hide something. The plot's intertwining storylines, reminiscent of Magnolia or Crash, is highly questionable and frankly laughable, not even deserving of mention. As for the rest, it is a horrible film, with dreadful dialogues, unrealistic situations, and stupid, mediocre characters from start to finish (not even Raz Degan is spared, who has the right face to play a psychopath but unfortunately cannot act). It is poorly shot with questionable aesthetic choices and disgusting graphics. The only commendable note, whether intended by the director or not, is that in their obsession with filming any bullshit with those damn cell phones in the name of some unknown need for exhibitionism, they all end up rightly dead… or perhaps the mania for recording everything is the only realistic aspect of this film; today’s youth are something else, thankfully.

Anne Rice's saga of Lestat is 100 times more famous and appreciated than this stuff, you should take a look at it... and the first examples of vampire literature date back well before, then the modern vampire is a whole different story.
