silver, read the lyrics of "BE" by Pain of Salvation if you understand English (it's not a joke, I mean not everyone knows it). You can find them on their website www.painofsalvation.com. Anyway, read any of their lyrics. This is to help you appreciate lyrics that I consider REALLY special. I recommend you take a look at them and honestly tell me if Vasco's are comparable.

I have to admit that having listened to it closely, there are certain points where the borrowings from the Dream are so evident that they become bothersome; however, as a debut, it gives hope.

that was not arrogance but pure truth. anyway, I completely agree with Earl, because it’s absurd to say that Slayer invented death metal, just as I’ve heard regarding prog metal about Rush. If you tell me they INFLUENCED those genres, then sure, there are plenty of bands that started from them and then developed that specific genre (both in terms of death and prog). But Slayer plays thrash, the most extreme of all, just as Rush plays prog rock. If other death or prog bands, like Napalm Death or Dream Theater, borrowed a lot from the aforementioned groups, that's a different story. Anyway, for death or black metal, your argument about the vocals doesn’t hold. It’s obvious that Oasis with a growl wouldn’t be death metal, but you’ve flipped the script, because I said that death cannot be such WITHOUT a growl, not the other way around.

Yes, you really can't talk to me about music... silver, you are a poor soul blinded by idolatry towards a completely useless character. In fact, a detrimental one.

Look, I’m 10 years younger than you, but from your last statement about skaters, it seems I have nothing to learn... Anyway, if the Death aren’t death... then what is death? I’m really curious. And by the way, the rhythm of "Raining Blood" (the song) is, for example, a nice thrash rhythm shot faster than usual, that’s all. As for the unmuted string rhythms, I can concede that they are closer to death, but they only get close, really; Araya’s voice, for example, is definitely, if you don’t want to call it thrash, not death. So if you want to talk civilly, that’s fine; if you want to act conceited, I think you’re just a know-it-all. Best regards.
