Great review. But the album doesn't excite me at all. And I don't like it because its stories (and its music) are too baroque. Too full of useless embellishments (as they used to say). And sometimes a bit fake (or at least that's how they sound).

I agree with Grasshopper. In fact, I would add that it is essential to know this kind of records in order to have an awareness of what is being produced today. Otherwise, it’s easy to shout “miracle” for new artists when the same music had been composed—similarly—forty years earlier. Many current bands owe a lot to S. & G.! I rated your review 3 instead of 4 because of the first five lines...

I'm a bit sorry, but I'm one of those who rates it a 4. Even though compared to many other albums reviewed these days, it would be a 15!

For me, it's definitely a 5-star album. No doubt about it.

Damn... it just seemed to me that you were desperately defending a rather poor review... I must have been mistaken...

Anyway, to write about cinema you need to understand cinema.

In short, Caz... a review can go wrong... it happens. You went overboard. You ridicule punk to review a progressive album... or whatever it is. It’s like if I say I like pistachio ice cream and to express that I declare, “Damn, seafood pizza is disgusting, but this ice cream... listen here!” Then, being direct in writing is one thing; what you wrote is another: read your own words: “...shitty music...there’s nothing to do, four spaced-out kids...suck jobs...assholes...between the dick and the asshole...FUCK YOU!...spouting bullshit...send all punk to hell...small failed frustrated people...poor idiots...don’t be a pain in the ass...”. What’s that??? Aò? C’mon! This street language is fine on the street, or at most in posts here, but what are you doing, stuffing a review (that will forever represent you) with it? Come on. Heavy and cliché. For a punk band, I would suggest The Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Siouxsie and the Banshees...and other clones over time. I repeat, it’s not my favorite genre, but it should be evaluated differently from your rants.

"Then it all gets on my nerves, their philosophy, their way of dressing, their leading figures, for me nothing saves this subgenre of a subgenre of music." See? As usual, you confuse music with what’s behind it. Do you want to say that you judge an album by how the singer styles their hair? By their political or social beliefs? Yes, punk was one of the many "against" movements that deserves respect, especially because it has produced good musical results.
