Yes, thank you, I remember that one, it was fantastic!

Uh! Great Haden! What was the name of that album with the famous photo of the two kissing right after the Second World War?

Well.... I still don't understand why some people rate the reviewer based on their opinion of the album rather than the review itself. For me, it's well written. And tastes are tastes. End of story. What sense does it make to say "you have the tastes of an accountant"???? Why can't the tastes of a farmer or a lawyer be respected? Or should we start discriminating against professions? Once, it was said "you have the tastes of a bookkeeper"... Clearly, with progress, the bookkeeper has made a career... Come on now... Or "Ligacazzo" or "am I swearing"? What the hell does that mean? Adolescent behavior. Or is there a "god of music" who has rated all the albums and I just haven't noticed....
R.E.M. In Time: The best of 1988-2003

"Because R.E.M. have never been an easy band, and thankfully, they never will be".... What does it mean to be an "easy" band? A rather superficial review, and I apologize if I’m mistaken, made with the "ears" of someone who has listened to R.E.M. for the first time through this collection. R.E.M. has a rich history that is not contained in this greatest hits due to copyright issues with their current record label. And undoubtedly, it is just as beautiful as this period.

This comment, on the other hand (compared to the one from Born to run), seems to me just slightly rash. ;-)

I really liked your comment even though I don't fully agree with your thoughts. However, you've probably grasped the mechanism by which, at a certain point in my life, Springsteen became one of the reference singers for me. It happened perhaps because he arrived when I needed it, maybe unconsciously. It's nice to read these comments because there are people who still listen to music in a pure way, as you say. Thank you.

Yes, but make these groups and these albums a bit better understood. Forget about certain bluffs...

Excuse me, you dereditors, editors, publishers, dwarfs—I don’t know what to call you: a sincere question, but isn’t it better to see (publish) a pornographic image than this cover? I ask this remembering your previous censorship of a pornographic image that your caption commented on by saying, "since minors can access this site without warning, it had to be censored." But come on, there’s no comparison between two human beings having sex, making love, or whatever you want to call it, and what this horrible (and ridiculous) cover represents. Is it less disgusting just because it’s a drawing? Or maybe the reviewer’s opening line scared you? Perhaps you even took up their challenge…? And finally, you expressed concerns about the excessive forums that had recently appeared, removing them from the main page and stating openly that forums deemed unworthy could be censored… and here you are publishing three lines of a pseudo-review in support of an abhorrent cover. Let it be clear, I’m disgusted by moralists, but anyone who wants to be Young and Against with this stuff is in dire need of rehabilitation. This is just my personal reflection. And note that I'm not doing this under a transparent anonymous name, but with my nickname.

Boh... I might be stuck in 80s criticism: I didn't like this album, and listening to it again, I still don't like it. To me, it's boring. However, the perspective of primiballi is indeed interesting; 80s criticism, in retrospect, made huge mistakes (who knows if 2000s criticism is making the same ones?). I believe that only albums that endure for at least 10/15 years are worth noting. But this album, nothing, continues to not please me; I won't give a rating because I'm somewhere between 1 and 3.5 depending on how the wind blows.
Franz Ferdinand You Could Have It So Much Better

Alberto, let me tell you what happens: this group is a successful one and it's not welcomed here (at least by certain alternative-snobs). It's clear that you are a bit excessive in praising them. This isn't a "group that for 2 years everyone has tried to imitate," but rather a group that skillfully imitates the music from the 50 years prior. However, for those who don't have much knowledge of music, this record may sound original. To me, they aren’t rubbish, they aren't champions, they’re just good enough. But they remain in the "big group."
