Great taste, Daniele! The album is beautiful, but for me, it doesn't reach a full 5!

Bruce Springsteen The Wild,The Innocent & The E-Street Shuffle

An amazing album by Springsteen, one of my favorites from his discography. Fresh, intense, vibrant, romantic. Listen to the first strums of the guitar in the opening song. New York City Serenade, one of the most beautiful songs by Springsteen ever. Magical piano notes. Sandy, incredibly warm and poignant. Rosalita, a classic. A vintage Springsteen: you can feel all the seventies. From the guitars to the songs to the energy, and finally, to Bruce-CheGuevara's beard...

Great, great album. Nice choice Daniele, who, as others have also said, could have been backed by a more substantial review (anyway, in just a few lines, you've conveyed the idea well).

A wonderful review (or maybe scattered thoughts...) sincere! The album is one of my favorites from the '70s, immortal.

Dear Spreka, you write reviews and, consequently, you must submit to the "irrefutable" judgment of the readers, so I will respond to your "points": 1) I agree, I really don’t think he’s a satanist, but rather someone who capitalizes on this story brilliantly; 2) I’ve heard a few interviews, but they don’t convince me at all, not even a little; 3) I sincerely regret that someone like Manson (he already chose a shitty name) has marked your adolescence... what bad luck!; 4) Yes, musically it’s a valid band (an anonymous adjective...); 5) It’s the character that’s constructively made, not the band; 6) These are not sterile provocations but different ideas from yours, I know it’s not simple but it is simply so... P.S. It’s obvious that no one here harbors any grudges.

Spreka, seriously, do you think this guy is sincere in what he's doing? And also: what do you like about the satanist (read: let's choose this nonsense that's so trendy) that he has in him?

3) "He lives off old successes (with the millions earned from 'Born To Run' and 'Born in the USA' he could feed half the African population) and no longer believes in either improbable human redemption or a necessary political rebirth." I have often wondered how one can make such hasty personal judgments unless, I believe, in bad faith and with a clear taste for provocation: this is absurd (let me remind you of the tour, the songs against police abuses, against human degradation, etc.) because objectively Springsteen, being just a singer, neither a politician nor a businessman, has done much more than what his economic and fame situation would suggest. 4) The last sentence of your review reflects the spirit in which it was written. I'm very sorry, but there's a difference between musically criticizing an album, something we can all do, and when one enters, as you do, without any information on the subject, into personal judgments about artists; the review immediately becomes sad and boring. A "fruitless" review.
