...I can't forget, many years ago, when I, a Neil Young fanatic, and his album "Harvest", discussed it with my Uncle, and how he, in response, recommended James Taylor's "Mud Slide Slim And The Blue Horizon"... I can't forget how, by oversight, I played the vinyl from side B, and how I practically fell in love instantly with those magical notes and with that "warm and sincere" voice...

A measured singing, never excessive, a special, unique voice... perfect arrangements, the album is a mix of "folk, country, blues, jazz"... but above all, they are melodies that go straight to the heart...
The album, from 1971, contains 13 tracks, including the very famous "You've Got A Friend" written by Carol King. Frankly, I believe that all the songs deserve the same attention, but I can't help but mention my most beloved ones, "You Can Close Your Eyes," "Machine Gun Kelly," "Riding On A Railroad"...
