1) Nick but... do you lean with balls or without, be more precise. 2) Mister Mustachio, come on, you're too strict. Too much. 3) Punisher, do you consider your reviews to be more right-wing or left-wing?

Doc... say something intelligent, please... all that adolescent-pimple-masturbation-stup idity. In everything, there’s a grain of truth... and here I see the bottom of a Peroni beer bottle.

Critique, well, since you are "old" at least as much as I am, I think it's also a matter of taste. I don't find Ten to be AOR. To me, it becomes AOR when the artist's only goal is to reach the largest number of people by creating something artistically. Something snobbish, pompous, rhetorical. Ten is none of that. It represented a nice breath of fresh air. Clearly, as you say, perhaps it was a bit of an immature work, not fully matured, and that, in any case, they would later go on to write great pieces.

I don't agree with "constructive criticism." Or rather, I agree with the definition of AOR that it gives, but that definition, in my opinion, cannot be applied to the "early" Pearl Jam. Especially not to this album. Did you live through that era? Or are you buying "Ten" today, after a thousand radio stations have pounded your eardrums with their songs? Were The Beatles and the early Rolling Stones AOR? Let's not exaggerate with this AOR, because when you sift through it all, you end up defining "rock" as only that album which didn't sell. So, niche. Therefore, anti-establishment, anti-conformist, etc. I believe that first of all, the album should be "experienced" during the period in which it was released and with the impact that follows ("should" according to our chronological possibilities...). It's clear that 10, 20, or 30 years later, the same album may seem watered-down.

Very good Cece65, you "sneaked" it right under my nose! :-) An album I wholeheartedly recommend, as they used to say. A gem. The production is fantastic!
