I’ve known Bruce for many years... and I was tempted to write this review. Well... the album is good. Unfortunately, nothing more. But... beware, "good" is the average of the album. Inside, there are two or three 5-star songs. Among the most beautiful written by Springsteen. First of all, "The Last Carnival": Outstanding. Remembering his E Street bandmate Federici, who passed away a few months ago. The sounds are a nostalgic reminder, distant and sweet echoes of his 70s albums. Beautiful, truly beautiful. Then there’s "The Wrestler": Bruce tells a great human story with a pathos that is hard to find among younger songwriters. "Queen of the Supermarket" and "Life Itself" are a half step down but remain outstanding songs. "Life Itself" is almost a little Point Blank from the 2000s. Then... fun. Great songs are "Outlaw Pete" and "My Lucky Day." An album, ultimately, among the best of his recent output, but its story is another.

HumbleJew... certainly, you could have just looked elsewhere.
In my opinion, the comparison could be this: you walk into a house and find a plate, sure, you were looking for a nice burger with fries (rightly, it said McDonald's outside), but inside you found someone like me who made a meatball with tomato sauce... what can you do, you don't like it, but come on, a little respect for the chef! :-)

Sorry if I seem blasphemous, but it seems we've forgotten one little thing: The Law of the Market.

There is... yes, but the world has moved on! Now the lira is worth half! So we can well say that we have reached parity (if we're lucky) between the real value of the lira and the euro... right?
(Just think about it) :-)
