Theatre of Tragedy Velvet Darkness They Fear
Voto:
Releasing an album just a year after their debut is risky, but our artists have won the bet with flying colors. It's their most fluid, polished, and refined version, almost danceable, where a romantic, mysterious atmosphere lingers for all 50 minutes. Among the tracks, "Bring Forth ye Shadow" stands out as a delicate awakening on a red velvet pillow, the elegiac passion of "Der Tanz der Schatten," with the lyrics in German, and "On Whom The Moon Doth Shine," which emphasizes the slow decay of things, and the superlative "And When He Falleth," almost like a bold clock sound wrapped in cotton wool. So here we have another great masterpiece, which somewhat anticipates what Tristania will do the following year with Widow’s Weed.

Great review for a combo that, since its debut, has established itself as a true revelation.
@salvatore: I didn't think you liked them too.
