Better than Blow Your Headphones? That was so good, and it was underrated.....

Yes, the vote.
I understand the spirit of the review, I obviously do not share the judgment.
R.E.M. Around The Sun

Neither durable nor pure nor distracted. It's that even if they read the phone book with a background of honking, they wouldn't be able to produce a record like 1/5. If this is the assessment of Around the Sun, we would need to dig deep beneath zero for a lot of stuff, perhaps a bit cooler and "alternative" which we read about and hear praise that is truly wasted.

Luca Flores For Those I Never Knew

For Hal: but really Tiziana Ghiglioni? For God's sake, she is absolutely mediocre...with all due respect for the professionalism that must be acknowledged. And she shouldn’t have done it, that album about Tenco, she shouldn’t have!

Yes, it needed a spot. So what? What a pleasure to hear the voice of enthusiasm for a "random" discovery. A hundred of these spots and free choice for the unborn (Bible no thanks).
Paolo Conte Elegia

The craft is no small thing, and when it works alongside talent, it rarely misses the mark. The album is quite good (as I already mentioned in the previous email), but I know that the Count can give us more, that’s all. Regards.

Even when it comes from afar, with some effort and a shortness of breath, the lawyer remains firmly on top of the class and style. The "minor" songs, then, are always the richest and assert themselves over time. Like those from this good record. I'm waiting for the Aguaplano of this millennium; in the meantime, I'm happily re-listening to this one. One curiosity: I spoke with Conte a little while before the release of the legendary double album, and he confessed to me that they had entered the studio for a single album and kept on "having songs come out and never stopped..." Perhaps there's all the craftsmanship here but not the same creative vein as back then. However, always expecting more is truly too much.

Guys, what’s going on? Why all the fuss? All this hysteria prevents us from using the space to draw something good from it. Some worry too much about others' judgments, while others expect that even offensive judgments don’t provoke reactions. It seems to me that music is too often a pretext for childish squabbles and fan-like divisions. Does it have to happen here too? The 1st album of the Longue Lizards is truly unique and unrepeatable; this doesn’t seem all that interesting to me. If I find the time, I’ll try to review that. Meanwhile, I’m anxiously awaiting the judgment of the nice Django. P.S. Hey, Django, among the fingers you’re missing, I hope the middle one isn’t one of them…
