I believe for none of these excellent reasons. But you are kind, inge, to try to help. The word I remember thinking most often, as I listened to him and around him the chorus of unanimous acclaim from the boys, is "overrated."
A little odradek?
Prefab Sprout Steve McQueen
Voto:
The first Del Amitri album struck me with a light freshness, but I can't remember the title; I have the vinyl somewhere. However, I clearly remember their live performance a couple of years after their debut: a confirmation of freshness, speed, and beautiful solutions in the vocal parts, which opened the concert for L. Cole, if I recall correctly. I have an impression of...likeability. I haven't followed them closely, but hearing some of their later work, they seemed a bit "heavier"... but since you're so determined, Danny Wilson, in your judgment, I'll try to find and listen to at least Some Other Suckers Parade.
Ramones The Best Of
Voto:
Where did you read the guidelines on who and what deserves a place in the Olympus? Open your ears a bit and close the little notebooks of ggggiovane music. The Ramones were great, funny fools. And especially the early albums were fun. Really ugly, all worried about showing some technical knowledge without caring about the substance of the matter. Here too, an ego on the loose. Sorry, darling, but I liked them, and you treat them poorly.

ajejebrazorf, get the CD. No samples, at this price. Or not?
Area 1978: Gli dei se ne vanno, gli arrabbiati restano!

The usual wasted opportunity for an album that deserved so much more.
Ego kills more than the sword. What a shame.

Well done. The Andean nightingale deserved at least a mention. The information about the discounted CD is also useful for those, like me, who only have old vinyl records. Sumac enjoyed great notoriety even beyond the borders of Central and South America. The acclaim she achieved in the then U.S.S.R. was astonishing, with crowds packed for her extremely crowded concerts. Some interpretations in "exotica" style are very entertaining; I hope they are included in this CD.
P.S. I bought the CD by Sussan Deyhim that you reviewed, and it was a good purchase.
However, I would like to invite you, if possible, to provide more details about the content next time, a few more specifics that would allow for a less approximate idea of the album. Bye.

You know, Inge, that I’ve never been able to stand Tubular? Please, can you tell me why?
