Nice advance review. How is it that all these hearts are enchanted? When the first one came out, I wouldn’t have bet a dime on it... But DeBaser hosts so many sensitive ears, it seems.

Well, after Geppetto's greeting, a welcome to DeB. I don't know this album, but I do know others by Neffa, and aside from a voice that is really embarrassing at times, I think he's good and has nailed more than one song, with great melodic solutions and some effective and stylish beats. Your review betrays a passion that I don't share, but I do agree with the distance you take from certain "infamy" comments that are thrown around, especially in certain circles, when someone steps out of the narrow enclosure of the hardcore and also has the "misfortune" of becoming marketable... Much less shareable is the comparison with the Bittels, whoever that God of himself you’re talking about is. But it's passion that speaks, right? Till next time.

Yes, you're right. No horses in the discography, I wonder where I got that image from... On the other hand, a series of respectable collaborations, which confirms that it can't be the para-new age mush I mistook it for. I apologize for the confusion, and I will follow your suggestion (though I'm also tempted by the album with McBride... I'm a fan of Christian).

Well, I wouldn't say more than the Kronos, but... Wow, I don't know the one with J.Hall, I need to give it a listen. I'm wearing out "J. Hall & basses" in the sense that I've been playing it for quite a while and it's still fresh, and I never get tired of it... See you again!
P.S. I prefer the cellist of the Kronos.

I passed by here again after a long time to see what had happened... Well, I’ll leave a greeting to RingoStarfish and another 5. If I find the time, I'll also add the letter to Berlinguer. No offense to anyone, but if there's been room for certain chatter, in this context (the review of THIS album by the CCCP) a little space should be found for that too.

I don't know, I heard a little something, but I've read ecstatic reviews from famous musicians (I believe even the delightful Laurie Anderson).
But does that Contemporary Jazz seem relevant to you?
Welcome on my part as well, even if it's a regrettable delay.

A curious note regarding the "commercial" weight of Coldplay and this album. Toward the end of last year, the board of directors of English EMI (I believe that’s the record label) was threatened with being outvoted and "unseated" during the budget approval by furious shareholders because the projected revenues were significantly lower and thus, as a consequence, the closing of the budget would show an unforeseen deficit. This unfortunate situation arose primarily due to the postponement, caused by the events described in the review, of the album's release. I don't know how things have evolved at EMI. Perhaps calling it history is excessive, but it certainly had some weight, at least in the news. I haven't listened to it yet. The single that preceded it seemed a bit "weak" to me...

Trellheim, you leave me puzzled. But I’m still counting on you for a less fragmented conversation, in another place and time. Perhaps starting with a meditation wine. And surely not excluding the very worthy grappas… so that even Aeneas will have the chance to express himself without cursing (prozacchini, I can’t believe it!) Adios

But can’t we wait for autumn? It’s impossible to talk about it adequately before mid-September... Or is an unexpected ethyl tide rising?
