Well, you mention Wire several times, and their early stuff is brilliant. Well, maybe I’ll rely on my trusted dealer when she returns from her endless vacation (DAMN HER, LUCKY HER). No, I don't think you should do less at all, quite the opposite... but I wonder what substance you use, since that classic hyperactive stuff doesn’t seem to resonate in your recs. Bye.

If it were truly better than Ghost of... it would be, as far as I'm concerned, unmissable. Even though I'm not a fan of the Boss at all. But some reliable opinions tell me otherwise. I've promised myself to listen to it anyway, and I will. In the meantime, while I don't share the judgments on that album, I appreciate the concise rec. of this one.

Well, young man, welcome to DeBaser. Not a bad debut; if you stay, you'll have to "loosen up" enjoying the undeniable advantages that abandonment brings. You'll have all the reserves of polemical energy you've accumulated (like many here) at your disposal, and you'll need to manage relationships that will test the patience and civility of your manners. This comes from one of the most boring and sometimes argumentative users of DeB. By hopping between the comments on some reviews, you'll be able to verify it personally, should you appreciate the option. The fact that you’ve abandoned journalism works, as far as I’m concerned, in your favor for many reasons. If with the profession you also left behind the rigidity with which the category (so painfully represented in our country, on average) faces reality, you'll have the chance to entertain and amuse, inform and be informed, joke and get angry. And to choose your way of being in an open space, rich in contradictions and possibilities. It doesn't seem like a small thing to me. Nor would I underestimate the fact that someone works to keep the place running, and does it, from what I can see, excellently. The three things I wrote during my few months here have certainly required work from the editors, and I deemed it appropriate to thank them as well as apologize for any avoidable errors or misunderstandings. It seems normal to me. If you then identify an excessive peremptoriness in the anonymous invitation to correct, oh well. It's just a small taste. As for the bones, those are virtual. And a young man who has that figure in his nickname isn’t easily impressed, right? Have a nice day, jak.

It seems to be understood that this is far better than "After the snow" (82), the only one I have, or should still have, somewhere... Honestly, not really unforgettable, that one. Is the CD of this available? Well, Ege, you've been doing half of the homepage reviews for a while now: with all the work you're giving them, some notes from the editors isn’t really such a bad thing...

"Damn, Marcel. Challenging nickname, don't you think? Based on your debut, we can expect a 'musical' version of the Recherche... Can I recommend a read? Carver might work as an antidote. It takes the same 4 hours, but instead of accumulation, it's subtraction. And with great benefit for the patient work of the staff... Welcome, anyway, Marcel. You and your fucking Eucharist."

Beautiful and concise. Can you send some samples? A resurrection I didn't expect that throws me into a temporal tunnel. I vaguely remember the record: one of the four or five was my neighbor Nico, the true musical Charon of my adolescence who introduced me, among a flurry of others ('there were quite a few back then, in the shadows), to "Il Balletto di Bronzo," remember, Testaverde?

Nice reference to Memento, "my" movie. Before the issues with my hippocampus erase it from my memory forever, here’s a 5 for you.

Perfectionist? What does that have to do with it? Do you really need to put two 5s in the rating box for your review to respond to someone? (because you didn’t select it yourself, right? Not twice, right?) How come everyone else manages to do without it? Looks like now my post is wrong. No, I didn’t like your "response." As you can see, my evaluation of your text was very positive. It’s not the rating that interests me, here or elsewhere: that’s just one of the tools to express an opinion on what you read. Happy about what? I think the meaning of what’s been written is quite clear to anyone reading the comment. Except for you, perhaps. But evidently, it’s better not to be explicit, direct, and honest. We become “dear perfectionists.” Happy? Well, you’re happy.
