Henryk Mikolaj Gòrecki Symphony No.3 for Soprano and Orchestra, "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs"
Voto:
I listened to it, yes, the record, darling. The news regarding its commercial success that I reported is a memory from those years. But it's been a long time since I last heard it, so my rating was uncertain. But I agree with Trell: if I had to vote for it back then, perhaps in reaction to such overwhelming consensus, I would have opted for something less than the maximum. Today I am certainly less dogmatic, however... And yes, you understood what I meant. I agree that "THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND PREFERABLE (for me) way to talk about pain is to mediate it through a serene gaze upon it," but certainly not the only one. The horror caused by exposure and sensationalism, which often transforms the tragic into the grotesque, is one of the burdens we must endure even when listening to many "artists"... Hello, blondie.
P.S. This symphony was composed in memory of the victims of concentration and extermination camps... in your lovely disco-chronicle it is hinted at, but it seems it is not explicitly stated.

Remarkable? But how do I speak? I have to stop, for tonight.

I believe that in your case, the fact that it was the record of discovery carries considerable weight as well. But claro que si, degustibus! What does it mean I don't know if I'll write again? See you. :)

Antoniodeste, Hal often hits the mark. If you’ll accept a small piece of advice, since it seems you just arrived here, click on his nickname and take a look at his reviews. It will be a pleasant stroll. As for the Maverick, it's undoubtedly a lateral matter, indeed it was the one that closed my post. But it’s a curious example of how certain things can "work" in the maze of discography. Just simple considerations, it also makes for conversation. Best regards.

From the future (18 months later) a vote for the past (theirs) and for the permanence (of your rec.)
I preferred Wilder, but it's a nice battle.
And Cope, even though between Fried and World the competition resurfaces, (Fried wins by a nose) I'm also fond of St. Julian, who toured with us too. A concert that was one of the best of those years, a band that worked wonderfully, a meticulously crafted sound. Not the same for what followed Peggy Suicide, at least that night...

Yes, it happens. But in this case, it's a real shame.

I've noticed that it’s probably difficult for you to put together a readable sentence: that "le" is unnecessary, ugly. Sorry for what may seem like nitpicking, but it feels almost like a physical annoyance to me. And coming from someone who just popped up to judge others regarding "an astonishing musical ignorance"... Okay. Now I’m leaving, sorry for the disturbance.

Well... if that's the case, then let's stick with this and the horrible Metallica with orchestra and other amenities next to Schubert.

The beauty of the internet is that even someone like you can do it. The idiots, in the meantime, express their opinions, not his. If you have different views, try to express and support them. Or are you only capable of making vulgar and ungrammatical statements, wise guy? Stunning, yes. But not the ignorance of others you ramble on about. Having made this note to the charming little gray one, is there any way to make this record, like others that have nothing to do with it, not appear in the "Classica"?

Yes, we often stay away from things that we might really enjoy due to preconceptions or impressions derived from stereotypes. That's what happened to me with this album. I hope to find a way to listen to it now. I keep telling myself: you won't make a mistake. Actually...
