Now, that is at this moment, "Symbol" by Susumu Yokota. A completely different kind of music, another world, I would say. The territories in which the characters you mentioned move are ones I visit occasionally, and to say, I prefer Frisell or Jim Hall and sometimes Metheny over Terje Rypdal or David Torn. But these are the tastes of an omnivore who plays nothing but the bicycle bell or the horn. And I believe that, even in listening, this makes a difference, in relation to the tastes of a musician. Returning to Molvaer, the first times I heard him, I thought of Ben Neill, less fortunate, but probably more adventurous and temporally ahead. His "Mutant trumpet" is intriguing, especially one of his old albums, which I will try to find, of which I do not remember the title. However, I do not know the evolution of his work, which also intersected with "Jungle" landing on a major label (and there he is closer to Molvaer). I renew the invitation to release some reviews, which I assume, even now, will be enjoyable. Have a good day.

Hi, Ege. I had the 12” "The Gospel Comes To New Guinea" and the LP "The Culling Is Coming." Beautiful as always, the review. I haven't listened to them in ages, but it's true that they were very original in the music scene of those years.

Well, the coincidences keep coming... Two Pieranunzi in a single day... You know I didn't really appreciate Ghiglioni's album much, but that's because she's never been an interpreter I've been particularly convinced by. This is a truly "bold" endeavor, and it intrigues me a lot. Tenco's voice seems so unique that I always "fear" others' approaches to his songs. Could you share some samples, just to get a little taste of her voice?

Thank you, Hal. At this point, I'll take it.

I saw that it was already present in "Khmer."
I found this statement from Aarset in a text with a somewhat improbable translation at times: "What fascinates me about this music is the hypnotic rhythms and the musical freedom," says Aarset. "There are no rules or traditions to what I do. You define the rules yourself while playing. Rhythm is the heart of music, the point of orientation in the landscape in which the soloist moves. We find ourselves in a new field of music - I have no idea where it will lead. But there are still many fantastic sounds to create and develop, and that’s what makes this scene so exciting."
Hal, among other things, I believe also plays on Dhafer Youssef's album, "Digital Prophecy," and they have performed live as a trio with Fresu, even in Italy.
Yes, it really sounds like a great tip. Antoniodeste, you're a guitarist, right?

JohnOfPatmos, always with "tempting" discs, always a challenge for the budget... I take this opportunity to ask you for your opinion: I've heard a lot of good things about an album by Enrico Pieranunzi, "Special Encounter." Do you know it, what do you think? This one seems more "unusual" at first glance...

Interesting. Even though my palate isn't that refined. I didn't keep up with the latest Molvaer, I stayed with Khmer. Let's see if we can track down this "anomalous" one. You also seem like a young lad with some common sense. At this point, I'm waiting for some more "organic" contributions, perhaps a review... Have a good day.

JordanSullivan, I heard the Trio Loussier several years ago and it struck me as an interesting reinterpretation. I believe I will look for it, although it won't be easy, because even back then it was rather hard to find. The coincidences have come together just as I've described. Just in these days, something else quite incredible, of a completely different nature, has happened to me. I don't know... the last of the definitions is my favorite. You have to tell us about your trio...

THIS: It goes through the ears but it enters subliminally into the heart and makes it a little more consciously heavy IT IS THE REVIEW.
