Beautiful page, like all those laid down by Alfo's sensitivity. He seems to appreciate Branduardi much more than I ever have. I've always perceived him as out of time, yes, but artificial and stagnant, lacking "meaning." However, considering the credit he enjoys even among some authoritative DeRecensori (even Grass praised him on another page), I will end up listening to him again, sooner or later.

Nice record. Nice review. You say it didn’t get the attention it deserved, Trucido? I don't think so. For me, that year, it was among my favorite "rock" albums. Of course, it suffered a bit from being seen as a side project, and fans, you know, are often monotheistic, not very willing to challenge their unilateral fundamentalism. Tough luck for them, worse for them. - But I haven't played this vinyl in a while either. Who knows, maybe one of these days...
