Matmos The Rose Has Teeth In The Mouth Of A Beast
Voto:
No, I think the record belongs to Stephin Merritt, with 21. But this one has the "proportional" record: it's only 10 tracks...

Did the girl leave you because of the Amandine? Because of the guy behind the cart? Or did she meet Jim?

I actually order it from the little shop near the office (the lame rock section takes up most of the little space). I was just pointing out one more possibility.

Because she's beautiful. Very beautiful. And even Jim has understood that she's not his type. Jim passed the test, I don't know if you realize it!

Ashra - Our little shop - 18 euros, straight from their little shop. - Jim, I don't know, what do you think? Lately, I'm feeling so straaange... - Antmo, fuck off. Slowly, though. Just like we like it.

Dear Festwca, how did you manage to sneak that damn thing into the text? I'll get this record because of that outdated term. The rest of the review had me scared, you know how it is, if I fry even chip & dale, the two neurons.....

Who knows what happens if you've long surpassed 40... Beautiful comeback.

The singer's voice, indeed peculiar (I liked it a lot), was partly due to a congenital problem with the vocal cords. They had little success, especially in the States: there were more people (still few) at the European and Italian dates than at any of the American ones. This album is perhaps the most homogeneous, but for me, it's hard to choose between Exploring E Moonhead and the subsequent ones. I also really liked a mini album of covers, featuring a nice version of a "minor" track by Hendrix. Here, however, if I remember correctly, there’s a cover of a piece by Can. - A double CD capturing them live was available until recently at a nice price. They've always given me the impression of "honesty," in the sense of sticking to their own sound world rather than trying to ride the many passing waves... Yes, great band.
