Hal, that's already on the list I made with my favorite DePagine.

Ajeje, I gave it a 4 because it never really drove me crazy. I only have the vinyl, I haven't listened to it in a long time, and if I felt like hearing it again I might change my mind. I will definitely listen to Germano, though. I wasn't joking about the list; better an epistolary calm than this drip-drip of posts. And maybe we can also write a few pages about female voices, what do you think? Actually, I'll write one as soon as I finish these estimates. Not about one of the top ones, maybe about someone I like. P.S. Of the three reviewed, Sainkho's "Out of Tuva" is a good compromise, Lost Rivers is amazing (in the literal sense, read the review, it "explains" it well).

It's called the Gorilla's stall, and he really is a bit of a gorilla. Too bad it's near a station on the other side of the boot, Wanderer. - Hal: in other words, you'd feel like you're dancing with Santana a bit tipsy, then passing by the Weather Report's rehearsal room during cool down - I have to go pick up some more, but I don't think Uri Caine is among them. Maybe a Sardinian postman will come by me, just as that subalpine one comes by you :))

Alright. I was curious about Bachelor No. 2; I vaguely remembered the not-so-memorable 'Til Tuesday and the excellent music from Magnolia. After the great page and Hal's comment, I will listen to this.

Damn, you’re tough. You cling to a little phrase from the imaginary dialogue (but the meaning doesn’t change, dear Kasparov, just add your "better" ones, you did ask for a top ten, didn’t you?) just to avoid mentioning those names. Sly little rockstar. - Alright, come on, one day we’ll exchange a detailed list, complete with brief comments on the 100 female records we like. You start, though. With your first 10 :))

Don't be clever, Ajeje. The scene unfolds like this: "Odra, give me the 10 best female records." - "Well, I don't know, here, I like these ten, but they’re not the 'best'" - "No, no, I want the best! Come on, stop being precious!" - "What precious? I don't have a clue, I mean, those ten don't work? Then here's another two." - "Yeah, but you're missing that one and that other one..." - "Hey, what do you want? And why don't you just give me the ten best female records?" - At this point, Ajeje: "Oh my, a game of chess..." - "Don't be a smartass, come on..."

Did you see? It's on the homepage now... Of course, you pick unknown and never-reviewed discs :)))

Indeed, very beautiful.

Cox, it's not that the editors work on a piece-rate basis. It will appear, don't worry. With all the stuff we throw at them... And use the z's, they are beautiful.

Well, if you put Bley on the list, you open a door to another universe. So how the hell do you sum things up? Siberry, sure, but how many others, come on... It's not about skewing the results. It's a matter of getting used to ranking things, to making comparisons. And I like records that I know are "minor," even somewhat ugly. If I have to choose, I wouldn't include them. But I would include them. Do you understand or not? Anyway, you can't mix everything up. And if you do, you can't avoid Callas, then. Or Billie Holiday. Or Ella Fitzgerald. And you want 10 names? What sense does that make, come on. No, no, it’s nonsense to skew the results. It’s just impossible – Upon reflection, though, I did come up with 10 names. The one backing down here is you...
