Welcome back, baby, in the role of a critic, which you wear beautifully. I had left them precisely with Psalm 69 and I didn’t have much curiosity about their fate, partly due to "emotional" distances that have become almost irreducible with certain sounds. However, had I been tempted, this page’s warning would have been quite useful. I'm waiting for you to tackle a less disappointing album: I like you when you like something.

While I was on their website reading the bio, I remembered that indeed Peter Gordon, a New York musician whom I had the pleasure of meeting, was featured on the record. He has produced some interesting albums, collaborating with many great musicians (David Van Tieghem, Arthur Russell, Laurie Anderson, Flying Lizards, and David Johansen among others). In particular, I suggest listening to those from his Love of Life Orchestra, perhaps the one with Blue Gene Tyranny, "STAR JAWS". Lovely music from a lovely man.

Fusillo, I was asking you because I don't know this and I do know that one, that's all. And I like it too. Bye.

The Panoramics were a group, I think from Naples, from the '80s. I had their beautiful album "Bugie Colorate" and I heard them live, a very large formation (8?) crammed onto a tiny stage. Great refinement in the sound, excellent and not obvious melodic attitude, an attempt to revitalize Italian song through non-trivial lyrics, quite evocative, and arrangements fairly aligned with a less shadowy and dark new wave from overseas. However, I can't think of any reference group. It’s been at least 15 years since I last heard them and I believe that was their only album. "Distanza dalla luna" La terra vista dalla luna was perhaps the best track on the album and it's an evident homage to Pasolini's La terra vista dalla luna. - I just Googled and discovered that they have reformed and the album is available again. The website also has some short samples. I recommend a visit to link rotto

Hal, here we have a joyful receiving machine:))) - Among the many gaps in my record collection, there was also Jimmy Smith, whom I've listened to many times. I'm buying this, Symbad:))

Hi, ZiOn. Maybe it's a good idea for you to take a look at Gabbox's comment in addition to tasting the little pieces, which, as I've already said, is certainly more reliable than me in this area. On the other hand, I still need to hear Bodily... - I promoted the Samples Campaign, first the 2005/2006 one and now this one. I can't help but honor it :)))

But yes, a Crown is fine. Even if the tequila gold... - What a storyteller, this reviewer... - Hal, I still need to get my hands on Una Sangre, by coincidence I might have it this week. I understand it's better to start with that one - Fusillo, do you find any similarity between this and Lagrimas? Anyway, many years ago it actually happened to me, in Costa Rica, that three similar mariachis came to the table with a little drum machine!
