Fidia, since you’ve gotten into the details, let me clarify: NO. I haven’t exaggerated, and there is no resentment. I have always expressed myself clearly and civilly with him, without beating around the bush or implying anything. Here, I’ve brought the issue to the ground that matters to me, related to music, opinions about it, comments, and information. The logic that drives other considerations (A, B, editors and peones, appearances, etc.) simply does not belong to me. And I do not intend to share it. If you’ve read the page, you’ll understand that I’m quite older than the average user. Nevertheless, I’ve discovered many interesting records thanks to reviews from kids who may be half my age. And I certainly don’t care if they’re in A, B, or interregional. If I hear or re-hear an album worth noting, I try to share the listening experience. This is my way of seeing DeBaser. I’m willing to converse on this ground. The rest, frankly, is just wasted time. And unfortunately, I don’t have much of it. - Regarding objectivity, especially in music but also in evaluating a text, I simply don’t believe it exists. Not in an absolute sense, at least. So I don’t concern myself with the issue. Bye.

Because here I’m talking about my business, and there I’m discussing the album (like in the "real" ones). But it was my "business" that made me want to talk about the album. This is the source, that’s the effect. A and then B. The choice followed this logic. And I still think it’s right. Anyway, without rhetoric, I find that Aktuala deserves a listen if you have any interest in Italian music from those years. I’m also re-listening to the first one and it amazes me in many details. If someone approaches while you’re turning a page, for me, that’s the result achieved. - The focal point isn’t for me, I’m too astigmatic.

The most interesting indications, in my opinion, are obviously the existence of the album, of Aktuala, and their anticipation of a certain world music (read what Hassel says about this). Until now, they have not been present in De Baser. Meanwhile, Battiato, and even his older productions, have much greater visibility here.

Start from the link. Towards the bottom, there's the list of musicians and instruments featured on the record.

@ Eneathedevil: Oh, welcome back. I can only partially agree. The way you've somewhat brutally summarized this matter (calling it serious seems a bit off) does appear in other reviews, among the nearly 9,000, not so much. Yes, many talk about those years, many with nostalgia. But here, there’s an authentic report from a few nights ago, almost a live chronicle. This particular album truly has those scents for me. It's not a gimmick. And then, rereading it, it's not so bad... In short, if this stuff about A and B makes any sense, I think they fit well where they are. With the nice note: just a nostalgic remembrance. As I was explaining to Hal over there, if I had put everything together, it would have been way too long... Anyway, I’m pleasantly surprised by your response.

No, no 40 lines. But I don't think it's appropriate for you to sidestep the things I've said with this nice reaction where you interpret my supposed attitude without addressing the concrete things I've written. The words remain written, and anyone can read them. Keep your thoughts on reason, better, etc., because I've never been interested in them. Just like your problems with women and omelettes. I talk about music, about the text of a review, I engage with other people's opinions on these comments. You do whatever you want, but don’t insist on these ā€œaffectionateā€ advice. I already told you, didn’t I? I’m excellent at making mistakes on my own. Thank you. – How many lines is that? Yes, indeed it’s too many, because you’ve already decided how to ā€œinterpretā€ them even before reading them. I am absolutely relaxed, not at all resentful. For me, it’s an everyday thing to deal with many attitudes from many people; it’s part of my job. Just imagine what a problem an exchange of posts here is. I’ll stay here as long as I like, then I’ll leave: I don’t live here. I won’t reply further. Take care.

Miii, always in Barcelona!! No, I don’t know them, but I’ve been to the Gorges of Alcantara and it's a true and natural spectacle. If the music is anything like that, then me gusta mucho. Speaking of world music, I invite you to check out my "doppia" on the homepage of the Aktuala album (a bit of self-promotion, come on).

@Pippo: no way, I'm always seasoned now, no need for incentives - @Symbad: hi. Be patient, I’ll add it to the little package... Maybe that one will "come out" in stereo too:)) - Hal: over there I let myself get lost in the memory, if I had added this part too, it would have become super long.. Patience and little package are also for you, and sorry to both of you...

Oh no, my dear. You don't show a thing. And you know it very well. There are some very specific things in my posts, not to mention being offended.

Beautiful, that description. No, come on, I'm buying the book. After all, I don't know Calvino well enough, and my readings go back too long ago. Perhaps this summer I will have a bit of time to read. Thank you. Have a nice day, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
