I will definitely listen to this album, which seems to contain works I'm not familiar with. I undoubtedly recommend "Another Tought," about which I would have written, sooner or later, a few lines. Just because the text doesn't mention it, it's worth noting that it features a cellist who used his instrument in a truly unusual way, and he's a musician appreciated by his most significant "peers" of those years, as evidenced by Glass's remark. He was also a person, according to those who knew him, who was truly special. Well done, Stronko, for this recommendation.

@ RegularJoan: thank you for the excessive generosity in your judgment. But can I suggest another little 3-star page that might capture your curiosity more? It’s the one about Carla Bozulich; I sent it about 3 weeks ago. They’re 3 unusual stars; it could be 5. - @ Hal: it's a very short album, it doesn't have the time to become tiresome. But you'll let me know, sooner or later :))

You're not surprising me, Gab, because I've always felt it only in "pieces," I don't have any records... Thanks, I'll note this Permutation, which seems like it would also appeal to Lady Z....

I will certainly listen to it gladly. Yes, I had noticed it and I'm sorry if I overlooked it in the previous post. But I will gladly make use of it during the day. Today I have two work meetings that I would gladly avoid, and I could use it a bit there. Bai

Hello, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I don’t know, let me check the regulations... Yes, there’s a note that allows it, but only "...if it follows shipping." What could that mean?

Instead, I think Bertoncelli was quite right. The previous ones were better, definitely Ipertensione and Elisir. Some things from Calabuig and the subsequent albums aren't bad either. Here, Canzone per Sergio (but maybe the reviewer is right about the arrangements) and L'ultimo spettacolo are my favorites. I've always thought that Samarcanda is really ugly, a mess further ruined by that oh oh horse that is truly pathetic. P.S. Long live Lì, but do you read the reviews before commenting on them? Fourth line. (Kataklisma dixit)

It seems to me that I've understood it's a hard drive (and at some point, extremely hard) that contains many hard pieces, among which there is one piece that is the hardest. Interesting.

Dear Stronko, you may have noticed that there's a link on the sheet that accompanies the review. It directs you to Freedb.com, where you can generally find the tracklist of the reviewed album. Sometimes it doesn't work, as is the case here. Since, especially for "compilations" like this, the difference—besides the musicians (and those present here deserve a mention)—is made by the selected material (from the titles, some standards and a few that I don't think I have on CD), you might forget these details, while for some they might be more useful and interesting than your text. I see no reason why they can't coexist. In some cases, for the reason you mentioned yourself, I have placed them at the end of the page. That's all. - Now, regarding what you call "this genre," take the reviews by Symbad: for me, besides being a very pleasant read (he writes smoothly, naturally, and often with flair), they are a condensed source of information. And never too brief. Do you know why they are like that? Because notes on musicians, tracks, interplay, structure of the pieces, etc. are information that a jazz lover prefers, and he, in that capacity, knows it. (keep in mind that sometimes we buy the CDs) - Now I’ll fade away; I hope I've clarified the reasons for my first post, C U.
