I haven't listened to my miniSukia again yet. I'm not one of those who judges the quality of a work solely based on its supposed (and sometimes actual) "innovative" nature. There are other elements that matter to me at least as much, one of which is the overall quality of the album. So, while some of what you say is partly true (because even a superior style capable of finding its own way to "institutionalize" the pre-existing isn't so common), the fact remains for me that that (Introdu..) is a great album, it goes up and down, no doubt about it. I don't even like "contests" between albums or musicians, but you've piqued my curiosity to the point that if re-listening to the mini doesn't convince me, I will also get the album. Then, maybe, we can talk about it again. - As for the albums you mention, I admit further ignorance, so I won't comment. I repeat, great review, too bad you always skimp on the samples, even more relevant in such an album. - Sample campaign 2006 - Cheers.

One of these days I'll dust it off. However, I have strong doubts that your thoughts on Sukiageniality vs the "academicism" of Dj Shadow would find me in agreement. Professor, in truth, I too have been a bit absent on DeB. The little pages write themselves while I re/listen to the records during work.
