Festwca, are you serious? In most cases, it’s always the same people, and the fact that I write a lot is a deterrent: what a drag, another long-winded piece of odradek! You probably won’t believe it, but I really only write once, I never redo. Then maybe I remove a word, add commas, but all during quick work breaks. And I never look at the number of views. I don’t care about being “widely read.” But I do enjoy exchanging opinions, discovering other titles, suggestions for listening, different points of view. What I like is to jot down, as it comes, a few ideas about an album I'm listening to. And to imagine that maybe someone, intrigued, will listen to it and like it. I’m a bit less fond of the opposite idea (that the listening might be disappointing or worse, disgusting). But it happens. It has often happened to me (both outcomes) and that’s why I continue to read DeBaser. And comment on things that interest me. If it’s also part of a “propaganda strategy,” so be it.
