Ludwig Van Beethoven Sonata per Violino e Piano No.9 "Kreutzer"

Dear Bisius, I notice that you continue to move frantically here and there. A pause wouldn't hurt. The vast majority of the text that you are supposed to have read (you even gave it a little score) is by Lev Tolstoy. If you use the link in More Info, you have the opportunity to read the full text. Please don't take it the wrong way, but a bit of silence, the abandonment of this frenzy that seems to tear you apart, the reading of those pages is a great opportunity. Then, with the necessary calm, you can come back and explain to us why the old Russian author seems worthy of a measly three to you. No rush, please. Maybe I misunderstood, and you wanted to emphasize a lack of appreciation for the use of a literary text to present a musical work. If that's the case, then I can only invite you to read that text. Perhaps while listening to the Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9. Martha Argerich has great temperament; she could prove surprising for a young metalhead. - Bye, Josi (what a closing)

P.S. for Fusillo: honestly, I didn't want to respond to criticisms, nor to pose as an expert in Islam. It's just that for various reasons, both in the past and today, I have had and still have to deal with people from that area, with that culture and those traditions. Some of whom have attended many concerts by Nusrat. That's all. As for my little page, I'll gladly let it go; this one seems more than valid to me, and there's still an ocean of music that hasn't even been touched upon here on DeB. Bye.

I’m back for a shout-out to the last DePassanti and to point out a photograph I found online featuring our guy with two people I like: Tony Conrad (one of the lesser-known "fathers" of minimalism) and Charlemagne Palestine. Conrad on the left, Charlemagne in the center (there’s a review in DeB) and K.F.W. on the right. Ingrandisci questa immagine (remove the spaces that form) A bunch of cheerful kids. - Bai bai

Yes, the logo and everything. But that doesn't change the fact that the aesthetic outcome of this cover is dreadful. It's absolutely ugly. It looks like it was made by the apprentice of a copy shop with delusions of being a graphic designer and macabre ironic intentions. When it's ugly, it's ugly, regardless of the album it holds. Nothing more than an aesthetic judgment, Cecè.

It doesn't earn full marks, just like I believe none of his albums do. But for me, this is among the best, if not the best. The sound is meticulously crafted and powerful (thanks to the presence of the members of REM who had recently recorded "Lifes Rich Pageant" - the sounds from that album can often be found here - and were working on "Document," if I remember correctly). It contains some memorable and effective ballads, and the vocals are presented front and center, highlighting a very personal and "decided" deep timbre. I also enjoyed Boom Boom Mancini a lot, as well as Bad Karma. - R.I.P.

Tegucigalpa (I see you are Dafunk in disguise) would you be so kind as to explain to me what baroque means to you? I believe it is a rather specific term and I don't seem to find its characteristics in this little page. But of course, everyone "interprets" as they see fit...

I don't know, I went to look for it after reading Lello's review, because I had missed it at the time. The shop near the office had it, but I didn't get it. Nice, yes, but it didn’t work with my mood that day. - I just wanted to provide information...

And there is a nice review of that album by Lello, who usually always recommends great listens. The album, which also Socrates mentioned in the early posts, is available on CD, I believe sometimes at affordable prices. - This one by E.B.T.G. between 3 and 4, but I’m fond of Eden.
