Yes, but also listen to the others I mentioned, all from 2007. Starting with Bley's solo. Damn, it just takes two clicks... - And then, if you stop rolling up with Happy, I'll link you "Presenz" by Torn. Then maybe you can write a review...

How I like it... - P.S. the "back adventures" make one think of ...... - Did you mean subsequent? :))

And then, if we want to dispel the clichés about ECM (some of which are well-deserved), there are also some recent discs... I wouldn't speak ill of the latest Surman, for example. And that girl Anat Fort, in her "simplicity," made a nice album. And then David Torn's return is anything but stale stuff. And others as well, which I haven't made available so far, but I will, sooner or later...

Here, since the quiet conversation thus far has finally brought to light a name that I like, I leave you two links: if you follow them you can "transfer" the very recent solo album by Paul Bley to your PC. (You, Happy, probably have it; maybe post it to someone.) I divided it into two parts because the file is too heavy for Mediafire's limits. I hope you enjoy it. I'll be back in a week, and you will still be here, right? :)) - PAUL BLEY - Solo in Mondsee - ECM 2007 - Simple File Sharing and Storage. part 1 and Simple File Sharing and Storage. part 2. Of course, remove the spaces that form in the link.

Well, I don't quite agree with this definition of the Polyrock (melodic offspring of no wave) either. First of all, because of the vague connotation of the term no-wave (beyond the reference to the famous album and the bands involved), and then because the most obvious affinity is precisely with the name you've mentioned several times: P.Glass. Now, if you've listened to the albums and know Glass's work, it's clear that the P.s are a striking example of a minimalist approach to the song form. So, just for this reason (and for some episodes where this objective, also thanks to the sense of tension that supported the refined melodic qualities, is fully achieved), we can rather speak of minimal rock or wave, if you like. The fact that they are less "original" than the B-52's is another point I don't agree with. Perhaps with less flashy results, but at least equally unique. But we are in the realm of the highly debatable, in this case. Anyway, who is writing a page on Polyrock?

Ah, well, Supersoul, that’s really another story: I’ve often used them together, and I agree with you. Maybe by using the first Feelies as a bridge...

If this was one of the "they would say," well, who cares. These "they would say" would say anything (if they were capable). In reality, they always say the same thing, with minimal chances of lexical variation. Yes, who cares seems like the most appropriate attitude towards them.

They would say who, Supersoul? Instead, I think they remain very interesting precisely for their atypical nature and peculiarity. While the names you mention, all nice names, paradoxically are more "outdated" even though they came later. - And what's with the caps lock stuck in there shouting from where did it come from? From an expired package from some discount store?

Yes, I can, People. In fact, I absolutely exclude it: different background, different sounds, different attitude, different song structures, different references, absolutely different music. But it's not an edict, it's just my opinion. Of course, I won't modify it to seem less "rigid." And anyway, if you listen to the records in question (both this one from the B-52's and one from Polyrock) even today, the difference, given an undistracted listen, stands out to the ears even of those who didn't live through those years firsthand, like myself or other ancient ones from DeB - As for the vinyls: yes, over the years, I've given away, lent, and "lost" a great number of them; the rest has followed me during moves, often creating problems with transport, packaging, and rearrangement. If I still have them, it’s probably because I intend to keep these... Anyway, I’ve seen that the Polyrock sometimes pop up in some stalls.

To stay on topic: unfortunately, shaving requires a lot of consistency... but it has its perks. Of course, the beauty also lies in variation (miss, hairstyle of, etc.) - Fabrizio, your Nina has gone overboard with those pigtails. They were already fine, so why did she have to exaggerate? And don't start with the perks related to the noble art of fellatio, come on... You know better than I do that the fundamental requirements are quite different.
