Supersoul, I got it. It's indeed a great album and very enjoyable. Good tip, thanks.
String Driven Thing The Machine That Cried

Unlike Vì, I truly fear the "authentic backbone" formed by this electrified violin... But since Lewis always manages to spark my curiosity, I’ll end up listening to it. And I take the opportunity to thank you once again for the last tip about that gem by Linda Perhacs.

Aristarco, what were you smoking? Did the Low have this effect on you? Are you sure?

While we are here, I would like to recommend a small album featured on the home page, reviewed by Addison, which has very few comments: it is by a musician who seems quite young, who has created an album with an almost "classical" style but, despite that, very "light," devoid of frills and excess while at the same time capable of depth... It is easily available online, and listening to it yesterday pleasantly surprised me.

Well, Supersoul, when I said "But I really don't feel like it with him," I was probably referring to the emotional side, right? Also because "narrowing it all down to a mere report card" is not a practice I've ever endorsed. I completely agree with Mementomori on the function of these little scores, which I generally (if I feel like it) accompany, like everyone else, with a brief motivation. And to which, in the end, I believe we should assign the relative value they hold.

You know, Memetomori, I know R. Wyatt rather well, all of his discography, and I’ve also had the fortune to meet him, which only increased the high regard I already had for him. In short, far be it from me to underestimate his work. It’s precisely for this reason that I didn’t give the little rating, which, in relation to the rest of his production, I believe would be a 3.5. - "The current musical landscape," for me, has nothing to do with it: Wyatt runs in a league of his own, always.

John Fogerty Revival

Listened: the reviewer is right, describing the tracks as "..linear and easily memorable." It's an even more "simple" album than his other solo works, and very classic, to the point of not sounding at all like a revival in the negative sense we often assign to the term. And it's played very well, with a perfect sound for 'sti pieces.
