This, as far as I'm concerned, is a great album and deserves repeated listens. The latest one, "Time Lines," released last year by Blue Note alongside the reissue of the beautiful "Smoke Stack," is also a fantastic record. I highly recommend both purchases.

I don't know, I never appreciated it much. Not even with Steps Ahead. As the reviewer aptly states in the comment, jazz is such a vast territory that it felt like a waste of time every time I listened to it. Definitely not my kind of jazz.
