In front of this album, I feel an absolute indifference; I’m more intrigued by the latest Britney Spears (as an object of curious auditory forays into the realm of the unnecessary) - Laconico (in the review, not in the posts) Omeros1, how did you come up with the idea of mentioning the Bad Plus?

You know, Iside, I really liked this a lot back then. Now I don’t know if I would listen to it from start to finish, but I could give it a try. After all, the vinyl is still somewhere around... I met the professor in the '70s, at the end of a concert, and I liked his open way of listening to his very young fans for quite a while... Of course, it’s been many years since I’ve done without his songs, which have become more and more tired and predictable. Beautiful page.

The discussion has already been addressed in the other review. I'll repeat what I think: if we separate the gossip from the substance, what's left is true talent, a good album, one of the best voices in recent years. However, I see that such an operation often proves difficult. I find it misleading and unfair to make comparisons with the sacred monsters of the past: we are faced with a product (because this is what it is in ALL cases, whether one likes it or not) that is not only dignified but also very valid. - @Supersoul: Carmel, whose album you mention and which I have seen live, which I appreciated and occasionally listen to again, certainly did not have the intensity of this. Two very distant approaches, two different interpretations among the many possible ones of a music. I hope the talent of little Amy is not suffocated by her stories: she can do great things.

Great review, great album. It deserves, despite the notes on the page, something more than what the reviewer has reserved for it.

It's true, the real single "era" Gepetto. As far as I remember (never listened to it again, for years) it was a record without infamy and without praise, as you say pleasant.
