Oh, dear ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, but you are multilingual; if I watch without subtitles, I don't catch a word, straight away. Luckily, there are real benefactors who subtitle and put things online. Actually, if this one from Damon isn't subtitled, maybe you could do it...

Ah, here we go, Sarah Silverman. Her "Jesus is Magic" is pretty good.

Well, yes, you did very well to remind me of Carlin. So far I've only seen this (subtitled and without audio, unfortunately, you miss a lot of the performance without hearing the voice and timing) - part one and - - part two, now I'm looking for everything else. Thank you so much, Larrok. Oh, and that American girl, just as caustic and funny, I can't remember her name, do you know her?

I know Carlin less, but I had some feedback on Hicks. Nevertheless, this only undermines my respect for L., it seems to me. I will look into Carlin further, thanks.

I haven't read all the comments, but I imagine that Luttazzi finds favor with many, as well as the usual para-idolatry from some. Well, we live in difficult times, it happens. There is always a need for idols. I too have appreciated some of his "works," while others not so much. It seems to me that the need to "emerge" from the surrounding mediocrity has harmed the quality of some of his ventures. But what I wanted to point out here, and not having read all the comments I don’t know if anyone else has already done so, is his repeated abuse of jokes borrowed from a great American "comic," who was definitely more clever and skilled than him in live performances. This is someone who, when he took the stage, not only knew how to catch the listener off guard, but was also able to physically manage the space and the relationship with the audience. The guy is dead, but even if he were still alive, I don't think he would care too much about how some crafty Italian uses his inventions. Sometimes Luttazzi, when someone pointed out some very peculiar "similarities" between pieces, has dodged the issue by attributing them to "coincidences," but there are really too many to be justified like that. Someone took the trouble to do research and verifications; the results can be found online. The "American comic" was named Bill Hicks, and I think there are also subtitled things available on YouTube. I strongly advise taking a look. I clarify: I do not deny Luttazzi's qualities; I have been following him for many years, but this stuff regarding Hicks I really did not like at all.

I listened to some of what you put on the YouTube: tinnitus big forever, if you keep this up, my boy. And you were right in front of the amps, I imagine... You’re all high on fuzz, not to mention the music (the great mosa, with almond-shaped eyes and who knows why and who knows why).

Look, Mega, after I read your message I listened to this again and yes, it’s nice, but I still think I prefer the other one. Could be the ban, could be because it’s more instrumental, whatever it is. But that thing where live she’s good makes me happy; I was curious to know how she manages on stage, you know all these new stars that turn out to be weak candles on stage... As soon as possible, it’s been too long since I last saw her. Say hi for me "here at home?" CiaU

For those who may have some curiosity about Vian's musical production, here’s one possible link: WordPress.com - here you can find a collection, others titled "Boris Vian chansons" and "Le deserteur" were available online until recently. As I have done for years, also on DeB, I continue to suggest reading his "work" in the field of music criticism, which allows one to savor the flavor of an unusual approach to sound, in the era when jazz was arriving in Europe. Once, it was collected in an excellent volume published by Dall'Oglio, which has been out of print for a couple of decades. However, a more recent volume, published by Stampa Alternativa, titled "Boris Vian Jazz!(rassegna stramba)", is available. Recommended. Best regards.
