Naaaaa, it was an exhortation, it was...

It doesn’t take much; this review isn't at all cocky.

P.S. If you're still here, sooner or later I'll take you to the stadium with the young Afghan "gobbo," as long as you don't suffer too much watching live what is already quite horrific on TV and that you accept the invitation of an old satrap.

Cute, but I have to listen to it again. But I’m an old devotee of Merritt and my judgment doesn’t count for much.

Well, John, you too, if you don't like it when readers comment, you could avoid publishing it. This is how it’s done around here, and it happens that one doesn't always receive only favorable criticism. In fact, among other things, Turco is not entirely wrong: "hard to grasp" might not be the most appropriate term, considering the nature of the album and the vast spectrum of music that flows through DeBaser. So don't take Azzo's post too much to heart; it’s not sweet, but that’s one of its fundamental qualities. Maybe sharpen your vocabulary and don’t assume we know you were referring to a mythical "average listener," who we haven't seen around here lately. Having said this nonsense, I’d like to tell you that I quite enjoyed your page and I look forward to the next ones. Bye.

@Macaco: this is exactly the album I would enjoy listening to these days. I'll see to getting it, thanks.

@GEB: "Extrangeiro" if you like blends and modern production, "Fina Estampa" and "Fina Estampa Ao Vivo" if you appreciate refined sounds and live polyhedricity, "Antologia 1967/2003," which is beautiful and rich (2 CDs, I believe). Then you might want to go back to the roots, and it'll be a great experience, starting with "Tropicália ou panis et circenses," an album that marked the beginning of the so-called "Tropicalismo." Speaking of which, I'll direct you to my little page: Tropicalia - A Brazilian Revolution in Sound - AA.VV. - Recensione di odradek I mention it because that album is highly recommended too and has many samples, to get a sense of it. Then, if I can track it down, I'll send you a link in private that could "help you" a lot in your search.

Well, Enea, it’s really a bit ugly, come on... And it’s not that they all misunderstood things, it’s just that the testicle releases plenty of reasons for misunderstanding, starting with the tone. I mean, the whole DIY thing now that there’s technology is a bit like the miraculous discovery of hot water, at least when put that way. Reading “the end” with this is not really a great idea, after all the sssssffffffort that’s been put in so far. And what about the metal and zebra skin binding I ordered? No, this isn’t working. We need to fix this: close like the show-off you are with a worthy page, filled with cryptic and contradictory concepts, in the daring weave of improbable conceptual connections, crafted with an onanistic and vaguely gloomy lexicon, opting for a significant and less obvious theme. This lovely little record is nice, but have you really fallen in love? Who knows. Bye, blondie.
