The Stooges My Girl Hates My Heroin

@MARIO_CASSINI: good question, to which an exhaustive answer could be provided by PTR, Francesco, Stronko (and a few other nicknames I'm forgetting) who are all Punishers, and who often commented, voted, and exchanged opinions on the same page, until they were unfortunately caught. But trying to get a clear and sincere answer to your question from that interlocutor would be a desperate endeavor. We will continue to live in doubt...

And then, if I were also those two, I wouldn’t always have to Google to know who the Litter are or other names that only they know. I’d also be younger, handsome, I’d definitely have more lovers, and maybe not even one extra wife. Yeah, come on, ILM_IGLIORE, let’s pretend it’s true. How do we do it?

I like the idea of ILM_IGLIORE, I would also like to be IMASOULMAN and SUPERSOUL, who are so different from each other and so different from me. I also like the fact that ILM_IGLIORE is concerned that "you" "may have some issues with multiple personality....". I like it even if the same thing was said by another user, who however didn't use the nickname ILM_IGLIORE. He said it and repeated it more than once. Who knows if that other user interacts with ILM_IGLIORE: in that case it would be a matter of multiple personality problems or just coincidence, or fakerism? What a dilemma, goodness. Indeed, quite a nice riddle...

@ CAPPIO AL POLLO: oh really? Well, whatever the previous one was, this nick you’re using now is quite nice. @ SUPERSOUL: I haven’t listened to it and I won’t listen to it, but maybe I’ll save myself from being added to the "musical snobs -radical chic" list because I don’t even want to hear Le foglie morte by Iggy. Totally in the past for me. In the sense of gone. Regards & kisses.

@Punisher: granted that you are so foolish that you haven't understood, while we know exactly what we're talking about, what the hell does your pseudo reply have to do with my post?

Well, Percy Mayfield isn’t exactly to be dismissed either: "Hit the Road Jack" and "Please Send Me Someone to Love" are no small feat... - Hey, IMASOULMAN, you were talking to me, but you also write very little. However, when you do, you always hit the mark. I didn’t know this one, and now I need to make up for it. And you even manage to bring Donjunio back! So thanks a lot, as you young folks say:))

@ Puniscer: every time I happen to read one of your brilliant ideas, it sadly confirms everything you've expressed so far. But with this one, you might just surpass yourself, a true gentleman. Assuming that other person actually told you that (and this will probably make you feel cool, I imagine), the true gentleman that you are should come here to trumpet it. What a shame. - @ baratz92: "tracce" is written without an "i."

Sorry to interrupt, but I read the debate about reviews in the latest comments and it made me smile. The issue here on DeBaser dates back to the dawn of the site, I believe, and it recurs cyclically, always in a rather similar way. The reality demonstrates that, however one interprets it, there are over 27,000 little pages here that illustrate the multifaceted variety of the subject. How many of these fit into the linear and rather reductive definition provided by Wikipedia or others is a task that doesn't pique my curiosity at all. Instead, I find it quite interesting to see how dissimilar in form, substance, approach, vocabulary, and subject are the pages I liked the most, often providing me with stimuli and suggestions about the albums that are surprisingly more vivid and useful than the rigorous "reviews" I've read elsewhere over the decades. That said, I’ve said everything and nothing. Which is kind of the spirit with which I view this DePosto. Regards - P.S. I didn't know this album, but I'm downloading it (Vitous is an old favorite).

But how come the dates in the "Summary" are often wrong? This album is from '88, I think, not '93.

I don't know if I still have the vinyl, but when it came out, it was quite a surprise: yes, it felt like true passion. And it was contagious. Nice to see it revived, hadn't anyone reviewed them yet? Strange, I thought I remembered that they had...
