@Greg*89*: I like how you write. It seems to me that you haven't seen "Memento". Well, watch it...

Yes, and how can you write about the movie without writing about Mitch? Death Rides a Horse, I've seen it several times and actually wanted to die, then they told me there are some things to finish first, and so maybe I'll watch it again. I recommend you watch 13-Tzameti before catching a bad cold. - P.S. I don’t really know if love matters, I always forget about love. I prefer to make a friend, or an acquaintance. - Now I’ll stop because I've run out of silliness and then I become even more annoying, she tells me, so I take the therapy and go back to the room with the lady. Cheers.

Doubts about everything, of course. But for you, in particular, it's not so much doubts as that I get confused with the nicks, I mix up the short ones. In short, you don’t want to be friends? Alright, I’ll make you a nice acquaintance with the short nick.

Wow, you’re so funny, Nes! And you even have Russ’s girls in your profile. And you’re the one who wrote about Mitch. Can I be your friend?
Alessandro Baricco Castelli di Rabbia

To all the numerous attendees: there’s a little page regarding a good book, on casapagina: it has gathered 3 comments 3. I won't express opinions on Baricco, whom I know both as an author and personally (I dare say that both hatred and disdain, personally, I reserve for more serious matters, but it's obviously a subjective choice) and who, I see, appears with no less than two titles in h.p. - However, I invite you, gentlemen, to take a look at the review of "Terra d'origne." A book that has something to do with the "sense" of writing. And reading...

Good job, Greg. Great choice. And a light page for a book that is anything but "light." "A kind of Russian Faulkner" fits, and the book is worth more than 3. @Blech: if you’re counting on the fact that sooner or later... I have the book.
Edward Hopper Morning sun

Yes, Stoopid, it’s all true. But... I've known Hopper's work well for many years; I've seen both this latest exhibition and a smaller one many years ago. Of course, I appreciate the undeniable strength of his work, but I still find, in most cases, his treatment of the figure very weak. Even though it ends up being functional to the overall image (the material sometimes seems the same: the same consistency between the chalky and the creamy, both in the walls and in the people), the human figure has a rigidity, a weakness even in the drawing, which is, for me, annoying in some paintings. In this one, a bit less than in others, but even here that impression hasn’t left me, despite the fact that observing it up close indeed enhances the power you call "hypnotic warmth." That said, the studies, drawings, and sketches—even the early ones—have pleasantly surprised me and, in the end, were the most interesting part of the exhibition for me.

It's worth taking a look at the latest comments even for things like this: thank you, DRUNKEDQUEEN, I had completely erased the existence of the ARNA! Yet it really did exist, even though it's hard to believe...
Mauro Pelosi La stagione per morire
Voto:
@l Cappio & @l Pollo: I never intended to ridicule anyone; if anything, I find it ridiculous to think about how that stuff resonated with certain moods of the young lady and a bit with mine too... But it's another geological era, which is why finding myself here with Pelosi surprises me. And you may not be a teenager, but I don't think you're a resident of Villa Arzilla either. At least, I've never seen you in the cafeteria...
